His voice is a one of a kind. It stops you in your tracks the same way Whitney Houston’s voice did. I am a very big bsb fan but I have to admit aj’s voice is the heart of bsb and without him and his voice I doubt the group would have become the biggest selling boyband of all time.
Please don’t ever mention this man and Whitney Houston in the same sentence again. There is no comparison. He has the more distinctive voice in his group. Leave it at that.

I went to see them live last year as well as watching Beyoncé, Aj’s voice surprisingly was a lot stronger than Beyoncé’s voice is live in real person and a lot more unique. I say that as a big Beyonce fan who won’t hesitate to say she’s hugely talented. His voice gave me goosebumps throughout the entire show. Idc what you say - he has a gift - just like Whitney did.
been a fan of bsb since 97. hes my fav member. i love his ranges...except the hoarsenes that was clearly from the drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes he has consumed over the years. it had an effect on his range too as he got older. when he was younger his voice was smoother. now its gotten rougher and he does push range a lot because of it. either way hes still my fav vocalist next to brian.
I feel like people don't realize that they were pretty young when they started BSB and that their voices weren't done maturing fully. I also think some of BSB uses different technique now as well.
My favorite verses by him are from Breathe, All I have to give, quit playing games, Incomplete, bigger, inconsolable, lay down beside me, shape of my heart, the perfect fan, I want it that way, and Siberia!:) # 1 breathe # 2 Siberia
All 5 are super talented! I rank them by hotness and comedian abilities and never their singing voices, in my opinion they are all # 1 in voice talent!
Um most of the A4's were F4's and the B4's were G4's. He's a Dramatic Tenor in my opinion his chest goes from A2-G4 comfortably. If his F2's were more stabilized and full then I would've said Lyric Baritone, but nah. Dramatic Tenor who pushes his voice too much, he's often hoarse.
Um... did you even watch this video? If you did I'm pretty sure you would realize that every single note is correct. Secondly, there are no F2s in this video

HOWEVER, his weight of his voice was still light. a dramatic tenor also has tremendous volume output in his belting register. thus, i classified him under dramatic tenor. however, his voice has lowered in the pass 3-4 years. there's a chance he might drop down to baritone. but im not entirely sure about that.
