I do have a plan to share Rhino files, but not at the moment because I'm still making some changes occasionally. hopefully, after reaching some reasonable point, I will do it for sure 🙏❤️
Intersting, and very inspiring; well done. Question: how do you take account of the soundbox depth ? the soundboard is obviously a planar cut at the top of the bowl, and you've done an excellent job of explaining the Pythagorean proportions of the soundboard; so, as far as the soundbox strips are concerned: how are you working the depth of the bowl ? Thanks.
Thanks a lot ,also for your questions 🙏❤️ the soundbox depth is a strange thing! first; if strips or ribs are following the neck and ending block! so let's say how shape of these blocks can effect the soundbox form and depth!! then; the neck block is almost a perfect half circle (inner part), so the ending block plays a very important role here. if we design and make the ending block in a perfect half circle like the neck, we can expect the same shape for soundbox and the depth will be exactly as the half of the soundboard. but! most of the time oud makers play with that ending block! look at those two last ribs (the edge of the bowl), they gives it an extra depth. I mean ,most of the time the depth of the oud's soundbox is Half of the soundboard plus width of the last ribs! if I could answer your question in shortest form I could, so I'm happy, if not, please contacts me trough Email, Telegram, Instagram (id: seimansour) to talk more on this also with pictures and samples
@@MounirElAzhar yes, it is important for calculating and making the ribs templates and gives you a 3d perspective on what you will have in the end. Otherwise the process can be done without computer. Also what you design on computer is not exactly what you want in action because lots of details! It can be 100 percent design with computer exactly but needs a very good knowledge to work with the software which I don't have right now.

عمل رائع.
شكرا للمشاهدة والدعم🙏
Great job ، can you share the file of the ribs please
I can share it with you but it must be matched with your bowl size and shape, also the number of the ribs you want.
@ i will do the modification based on my oud size
Thank you for your response
Can pay oud paln cnc ?
I didn't get what you meant? do you mean that I have cnc plan to sell?
