What an amazing Gesture on part of Langham Hotel. Should have been lengthier video to watch it more. Truly tears in my eyes when they entered the Suite. Great reward to remember for a lifetime. Worth than an Oscar award tp them.

Corporate kindness urgh. Free stay, only an hour of forced dialogue and cameras.
Memories were made. I would bet that the staff were touched and energized by this as the level of wealth and privilege of the service they provide is surely not lost on them. The staff members (at all levels) are closer in terms of class and wealth to the postman than most of their suite level guests.
I'm sure all would agree that a cash gift is better than a stay. Makes for a sentimental video, but really, a stretch to consider this a kind gift.
It might feel like it didn't cost the hotel very much to do this, since the space was probably going to be empty anyway. But for a special occasion like an anniversary, the couple might well want to do something like this to celebrate. I think a gift is a gift if it is given with love.
@@allanlindskoog Not much love when the production is about marketing, this is not a gift. Hotel should have paid the these folks union scale in order to profit off their likeness.
I disagree. I'd prefer to experience something I normally wouldn't be able to. Besides, the postman isn't paid by the hotel. Wages are the responsibility of someone else. And did you see how happy the wife was? Priceless.
@@waedidmyhandlechange It's responses like this that make me wonder if people actually read and understand the words presented. The hotel is the only one that benefits by using this as a marketing tool that they did indeed exploit. If this was truly a gift of kindness, then identifying act and the people involved removes any altruistic endeavors. The hotel also takes advantage of being able to write this off as loss. Maybe a cup or two of espresso will wake you up.
