Sightseer was a weird one to work with. The general process of creating Glory mod bosses is slow due to limited availability and occasional creative blocks, but I ended up making something I am proud of! It's special mechanic of only being vulnerable after you get through an attack hitless was done partially to allow more viability for true melee players who'd undoubtedly have their hardest time here, and partially because I felt like a boss that *requires* you to not go on your normal Terraria instincts would help players ready for the fights that will come later. I made up for this by making it reasonably squishy, having a lot of attacks that are pretty much free if you know what you're doing and are patient, and later adding in a grace period between attacks after you get hit to allow for more recovery. It's a very unorthodox boss, but one that I didn't think was too powerful for the point you fight it. Good job on beating it, btw! I know it may need some slight tweaks, but it's a boss I spent a lot of time coding and balancing. This will be the only boss with a mechanic like this as well, if it makes your feel better.
@@MyraTerrariaOfficialyeah, espically for pre hardmode fights. Doesnt seem fun at all for a early pre-hm fight. Hopefully they change it to not end up as a force nohit
@@borb9834 from my own experience the boss haves some attacks that are just pretty easy to avoid for example phase 2 teleport attack and the battle ends up being VERY short once you get to know every attack so its not that bad if you are good at the game
@@ses7346 It can be, but I did also make it so that harder attacks will reward the player with a longer stun time if you can come out on top. That sucking vortex is especially mean because of how it changes your movement, but learning the strategy (which is usually just making distance and using whatever mobility bursts you can) grants you a lot of time to counter-attack.
Sincerely, for me the best of all, in visual, combat and enjoyment was the Vanilla Rework Mod, haves new attacks, some little visuals, and it feels finally like a bossfight, the others are cool as hell of course, but anyways, great video.

Who can forget Fargo's demon scythe EOC? xD
Great work as always dude ❤
Last phase maso eoc was a menace
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial you were dodging it wrong, you are meant to stay in the pattern
Very Good video! I like how you also included the new "Forgotten Evils" mod! There is also an Eoc theme called "Occular Menace" that you could use.
The first time I played Terraria my first boss was EoC before King Slime. This is a Classic fight in the game
Same. First time I played was on mobile with friends then this big ahh Eye just flew across our house
Isn't eoc intended to be the first boss?
@@trodron no, King Slime is the first boss
i think everyone did tgis lol
@@MyraTerrariaOfficialno way!! i also started on mobile, maybe i will be as great of a player as you
The glory mod has some nice visuals
As always amazing job well done
Blurry effect looks nice. imo the fight shouldn't really be forced nohit like this tho

still the no hit part can be really annoying if you get the harder attacks back to back

this could be a cool series! an episode for every vanilla boss would be awesome, but no pressure of course ^^
Yup this is going to be a series
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial let's go! i don't know why i didn't get a notification for your reply, so sorry i'm late!

how funny that deathmode and rev eoc got like 4x harder and more chaotic immediately after this video was released.
Awesome reworks as always, reminds me my first EoC arena
Good video, but you could have waited with it because soon there will be an update to the Calamity mod that will change the EOC and other bosses.
Nice work!
overhaul doesnt change the ai of bosses but giving them death animations
edit: it used to
Infernum EOC goes hard ngl The sound track is one of my favorites and it’s easy but not to easy but yet not to hard
what would you say is the best modded difficulty for someone who wants an experience close to vanilla?
There's a mod that's literally called "Alternate Eye of Cthulhu" that this video missed, and I think that's a little funny
Interesting. I'll take a look
What are the characteristics of the author's PC?
I like glory mod's boss the most
Quick question, what do you use to record? Ever since I got my new pc my footage has been terrible
I use the xbox game bar to record. With hotkeys i can easily record the screen with minimal lag
Incredible!
Why is there no Calamity Death + Master difficulty?
Check the release date.
@@jimboanimations4041 Oh ho. ok
Fargo eternity my fav
OH MAH GASHH anyways nice work.
Miro a Myra apuntar con la mira a un enemigo que mira a la dirección que su ojo está mirando
Imagine trying to fight all of these at the same time.
I remember when I'm afraid of this boss, turns out to be one of the most easiest
The star sfx feels similar🤔
(Stick war legacy)
Im guessing its not possble(yet) to combine them all?
Whait.
VANILLA EYE DOES NOT AIM DIRECTLY???
Do one for WOF
Hopefully not too soon. I still gotta finish the Basalt Barriers.
For masochist mod version, thas preferently get 3 stars for diffilculty
