i really like this type of content. just seeing you play the game normally and not seeing all these random inconsistencies in the game feels like breathing fresh air after being inside for so long
If you notice the corruption it's looking rather duller than normal and there isn't as much enemies spawning well.. It's season based. Autumn is horrifying.
Overhaul is one of my favourite mods. It’s just, new! No game breaking items, no real post-moonlord, remixed OST, and so many little things that make it fun. The sound design is just perfect as well, everything has such a meaty thwack to it.
I still remember the first time I played Terraria Overhaul- very early on I made my house on, and under water to avoid fire, and the first thunderstorm I encountered made the entire lake permanently electrocuted due to the energy flowing circles around it.
One time, you tried mixing some huge mod like Calamity, Thorium and all... But really, that one mod to never mix with big other is the Overhaul mod... Or, just say bye to your hopes and dreams

A couple of tips that help you have a better time bunny hopping is the best way to travel until you get jetboots, it gives insane velocity, and there's even a bunny paw item that improves bunny hopping, when you get wings or the boots though... it gets a bit annoying to bunny hop Tip 2:as you probably realized by yourself, the falling velocity is insane in this mod, but just like movies and how parkour people do it, rolling just in time when you reach the ground, lowers the falling damage and in some ranges that will hurt you for like 30_40 damage (or less, i don't fully remember) it just fully denies the damage
And for your own sake, if you decide to make a wooden house, be sure to have a lightning rod near it BUT not on it Rains/storms are 10x more annoying than usual

just a note, even though this is very late: fire has a limit, you cant burn entire worlds by a misplaced torch, it extinguishes itself after a minute or two if its STILL burning.
You should try the "Underhaul" mod if you haven't already And after that you should play it with the Overhaul mod. Playing them together turns them into the "haul" mod If Underhaul isn't in 1.4, you can do it in 1.3

There’s nothing wrong with doing a good ol faishoned walkthrough to spice things up from time to time also I don’t mind having permaday on for the first few hours to gear up properly for the night so it’s okay…

I have a question, i downloaded mod but it only adds dodging mechanic, no burning falling trees, and character only holds range items like bow. I downloaded a wrong mod or something? it looks like a cut version of overhaul mod. Somebody help me with this issue
I have the same problem as I enjoyed it a couple years ago and decided to come back only to be met with disappointment. It seems to be because of the new beta 5.0 version that seeks to "reimplement" the mod to make it fit in with vanilla more, which isn't very reassuring.
This really reminds me of those Minecraft mods that made trees fall and everyone was going crazy from that

Just make your houses out of stone how hard is that for any of you to understand.
There's rocket jumping in Overhaul, along with a safety rocket launcher specifically for jumping; The Rocket Jumper [from TF2].

Prob because tiki torches have a much more controlled fire than a torch slapped onto on a wall.
