You still need the 1000 to be monetized, 500 is to get subscriptions in your channel, super thanks other way people can support for your channel! For the ads and other you need the 1000, i hope it helped :D

Ok something weird just happened on my yt. It has always said I need 1000subscribers, but now it is changed to 500??
