This is a staple of my rig. Absolutely love it 🥰 Waited months for it to come out and glad I did, no other quantizers really suit my 4-voice plant jam machine 🪴🎶
Nice looking module! I like the progression from the first one. Nice form factor and patch. Subbed! You’ve been busy since last I checked out the channel. Side note, OMFG looks amazing! Looks like it has lots of control minus shape maybe?
Thanks! All of the voices are using our Source module as the VCO, the new FAFF filter (coming very soon) as the VCF/A and the OMFG (also coming soon) as the envelope generator. Final mix is going through the TZVCA. Hope this helps!
As it stands it looks super intriguing but to do anything I can return to later, I'd need four stepped CVs into it, that I've saved for later, and then I'd need to write down the notes I've input and scale I've set for QQ2 outs 1-4. I could just put stepped random into it and turn on some notes at random for a fun jam / inspiration, but keeping hold of anything I come up with is very tricky, or at least it seems to me. But like... The QQ2 would make such a phenomenal little sequencer. If you could just run through the notes on each channel with trig in, have a reverse/pendulum/whatever order option, and a way to save, is all it would take for this to be a dream module. But I get it, it's a quantizer not a sequencer and it's pretty awesome at doing that :D
@@TenderfootElectronics dont tease me like that gosh xD But absolutely, I'll be watching how things develop with interest, Tenderfoot stuff looks pretty dope.
@@li21nljasndvkljhnakshedbxxc Thanks! The firmware is under constant development with new features in the works as I type this right now (one of which is an arpeggiator mode). Definitely keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks!
You'd just need a decent CV->MIDI converter. Lots of those available for very cheap. Then you can record it for later, play it back with your choice of MIDI->CV
There are a few ways to do it. You can use the menu system to set the key for the scale you are using, and this will transpose the whole scale. Depending on which quantizer channels you link to that scale, it can affect any or all of the channels. If you want to do it with CV, you can set one of the Mod controls to either of the transposition modes: Pre if you you want an inversion or Post if you want to transpose the entire scale. Again, these can be linked to any number of the 4 quantizer channels. Hope this helps!
@@TenderfootElectronics Nice! thanks for the answer. Might it be an idea to be able to set the root note via the buttons of the little octave keyboard?
Absolutely love the layout and interface. My only tiny gripe -- that black screw between E and F. I think a white screw here would not break up the keyboard layout.
This is the acutal module that should have been called the intuitive quantizer, lol! Ordered mine today!!!
This looks very interesting! I really like the modulation options, especially transposing pre scale.
The workflow is so nice. Cool quantizer!
How do you specify the order and number of times each note is played? It seems like it just randomly picks from the ones selected.

Very cool module and demo! 👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Great demo! I'd listen to the raw audio as a track!
Thanks!
Brilliant ✨
Cheers!
Brilliant little module here. Are there plans for any microtonal capabilities?
What’s that greenhorn sequencer to the left? I googled it but no results
Looks great! Would love to use a mod input to slowly morph from one scale to another :)
what sequencer used?
very tempting, and I already have many quantizers

Clever interface❤. Which are the soundsources used?

any sequencer there?

is it possible to change the root note by hand or by CV on one channel or all? Great module btw.!

whats your vco?pls😮
It's the Tenderfoot Electronics 'Source' VCO being filtered by the 'FAFF' VCF :)

That would make it look like a key. It is not a key.
just play it omg
I have your original Quantiser which you have just made Obsolete and unsalable so none to happy, won’t be buying new version
Very interested
