Wait, RUclips is about making money and selling products? Dear god this random guy on the internet has opened my eyes. That's it all my modular is going straight in the trash. Also this is the last RUclips video i will ever watch. It would be very foolish of me to keep watching content creators i despise after all. Also, this will be the last comment i ever write on RUclips because obviously continuing to leave comments under said creators videos would also be really stupid.
No, the community thanks you Ben, for no BS presentations, for the inspiring ideas, for your hard work, for sharing your knowledge, for being such a trustworthy source of information... Happy new modular year!
Really appreciate that, thank you. It's been a pleasure to do this so long and be some small part of a great community, makers. users, performers, musicians, casual weekend voltage tinkerers, good retailers etc.
List Sync! Says something that so many of your modules are top-sellers. Your designs are consistently some of the most useful and versatile available. It's great that you collaborate with so many different manufacturers to spread the love around. Here's to a fantastic 2025!
I do really enjoy working with a wide range of people, everyone brings so much and different things to the table. Certainly no sign of ideas stopping. Thank you.
List sync! Thanks for all you do for the community, how open & helpful you are, for the effort & quality you put into everything, and for consistently being a force of positivity as a public figure.
I got a ton out of your Dapf video. Super interesting. Also, Ochd showing up in all those lists shows how a basic concept can be so useful. Picked up one this year myself
I had no idea or desire for a full system getting into any of it, nor do I have plans now but the range with themselves I really enjoy. We'll see what comes in the future.
'list sync' !! unfortunately I currently have a trace sorta "lost in the mail" and a collide 4 due to arrive in February but was amazing seeing you in Bristol for the collide reveal as well as having all of your hard work up here on RUclips. thank you Ben!... wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

List sync! congrats on the DivSkip, and the continuing strength of 0chd. I really like your modules, especially the way they are compact, not crazy expensive, but add tons of useful outputs to add movement to my small 3U Rackbrute. Been a big fan, ever since 0chd. It's interesting that store 1 featured so many of these types of modules, e.g. Pams Pro Workout which really smashed it in sales. It seems the community is finding the same, more modulation is mega, tons of triggers is terrific.
Divkid I figured I should mention that I have scheduled a video on dec 31st called "how I watch a divkid video" on my gerbil hamster records channel Love ya little brother
Many interesting new modules this year, but I got the most out of a pair of new VCAs from 2023 (new to me): 3DVCA by Mystic Circuits. Dual stereo mixing, panning, crossfading, summing, with 8 inputs in only 6hp apiece. These get a lot done in my multi-voice stereo rack without taking up a lot of space. And they're pretty!
YES! to VCAs. Severely missing as they're never the hyped "sexy" things but likewise I tend to get more out of those things when added to a system than other things. I haven't tried the 3DVCA but I hear good things.
Is a full Collide 4 Video still going to come out? Absolutely loved the overview you done and really keen to see what you do with a full breakdown and demonstration of the module
Sync List Great Lists Lets Dive In needs someone doing a cartwheel of a diving board ( Can be the video game contra'd characters doing their signature move ;) Happy Holidays
Very interesting to see the metrics from the different shops. Curious if the number of units sold has anything to do with dealer priority from a vendor, where the dealer received a larger quantity of a module compared to another dealer due to a prior arrangement or relationship. At Sam Ash, we'd often be late to the party on a lot of things due to prior agreements dealers like Guitar Center would have with a company like Moog, for example.
Some stores simply choose not to stock certain things, or order lower numbers, other take a potential risk with higher numbers and those things can pay off at time. There's personal taste of the small stores as to what they like and want to stock, how quickly they reply and stock gets allocated. So definitely a lot at play.
Thank you for all the videos and work you put in to the eurorack community, Ben. You do an amazing job. Something I've been wondering. What do you do with things like "list sync!" that you look for in the comments?
Hello, thank you I appreciate that. List sync, hard sync, clock sync ... it's just a fun/silly saying for those that have got to the end of the video (which is very few across the whole platform, average watch time is never close to the video length). I don't do anything with it, beyond some enjoyment in sometimes seemingly random words in the comments and seeing people got to the end.
Across the platform for any type of video, big and small channels, watch time is low. As an example from some of my analytics, this video average watch time is 4:05, so about half, then a longer demo might average out around 25%. If I want to watch something I watch it, but it's fine that others more casual dip in and out.
List sync! Great data!🎉 some of these sales figures in the top 10 are huge! as store 3's xcelon in the top 10 isnt just a low cost utility module. people are probably more likely to only get one performance mixer, as opposed to filters....
each stores overall numbers will likely be pretty different. Understandable far from everyone sharing anything and then not everything from those that did. Not that I'd expect to dig into someone else's business.
Yeah I think the Moogs are fine to see as a module, or not, up to the user and how it's approached. Looking forward to trying some DNIpro in the new year, I should have a Radiant coming in for a video.

Octocore looks cool, though is it even released yet? Vinia looks like it packs a ridiculous amount into one module, and the DROID Moto kit looks awesome, but holy shit those haptic motorized faders are $$$!
