Thank you man! I think that’s what drew my brother to this car is how nice it actually was lol He’s gone thru pretty much the whole car and gave it the once over.
That’s awesome man! He was actually looking at a maroon one of these with a 400 and white bucket seat Corinthian leather interior but it sold like an hour before he called lol
I LOVE those cars... Honestly, i think the 70's cars had great lines and fantastic potential. But the government really stepped in and ruined it all where it couldve been so great. Not only choking engines but making companies turn to MASSIVE bumpers. I understand the safety aspect of the idea but it came on so fast that manufacturers didnt really have much time to integrate and ended up slapping giant hunks of chrome on the ends until they could catch up. Still, there were certain cars that made up for things but not many. This one happens to be one of those sweet rides that could've been REALLY awesome but ended up getting choked out and oil embargoed out of existence.
Boy they sure do! When he first got this one it had the 14 by what 7 inch rims with those wire hub caps that stuck out like 10 inches in the center lol and sat like a squatted truck
Thanks HB! Ya he wasn’t crazy about the color at first but he couldn’t believe how nice the car actually was so he had to have it lol and only like 54,000 on it when he got it
Thank you sir! He’s always loved the mopars too. He had a couple chargers and a dart and a Scamp back in the day so I think that’s why he wanted this one
IMO, 360 eng was best all-around eng ever put into production cars! Just behind 413 Semi-Hemi. To me, (I owned 3) 318 was unpredictable junk.( some good, but, mostly un-predictable, random junk). With regular maint/normal repair, my 360's lasted from 385k to 415k. Tough job was keeping transmissions innem.
I agree they are strong engines! This one had alittle over 54,000 original miles on it when he got it, it’s been running so good he really doesn’t want to swap it out or modify it too much
I had a friend who had one of these cars he bought new then traded it in on a 1978 Porsche 924 that I got to drive them later he got a 1978 Porsche 911
Wow, super nice unit. Who would’ve thought back in the day we’d be drooling over these.
Lol! Right? It was Chargers n Darts were the hot ones lol
Immigrating to the US from the UK in 1975 I bought a new Cordoba off the lot for $3.250.00. Those were the days!!
Boy you aren’t kiddin! I for sure miss these old cars n trucks of the past
Classiest looking muscle car ever.
Thanks man! Ya it was a night n day difference from when he first got it lol wire hub caps n it sat like a squatted truck rofl
Love that Chrysler stater sound.
It is a very distinctive sound isn’t it lol
Wow! It's in A+ shape. My first car was a silver 1983 Cordoba with a 318. I wish I still had it.
Thank you man! I think that’s what drew my brother to this car is how nice it actually was lol He’s gone thru pretty much the whole car and gave it the once over.
My dad's cousin had a maroon '76 he bought new with the Lean Burn 400. Served him well until 1991.
That’s awesome man! He was actually looking at a maroon one of these with a 400 and white bucket seat Corinthian leather interior but it sold like an hour before he called lol
@@RooneysSears01 Our cousin's Cordoba had the white Landau roof and a maroon interior.
When I was a teenager in 1987,I had one a 1977 Special Edition with a 400 big block.

Yep all the great engines that got wiped out due to "emissions"
Well, at least those bumpers could I actually take a smack. You get a 3 mile impact on a car today and you have to replace the whole front end.
With dual exhaust and a few performance mods, these Cordobas and their Charger counterparts seem to take on a whole new badass persona. 👍
Boy they sure do! When he first got this one it had the 14 by what 7 inch rims with those wire hub caps that stuck out like 10 inches in the center lol and sat like a squatted truck
@@RooneysSears01 They offered a "Daytona" trim package on these Chargers, I think for 1977. No giant wing or shovel nose though. 😄😉
They must’ve learned their lesson huh haha!
Does it have the “Fine Corinthian leather” (which was made in New Jersey)?
You beat me to it with this comment.
@@KnightOnBaldMountain But the proper phrase is "RICH Corinthian leather"
Looks like cloth seats
Color Scheme is Great 👍
I'm envious! Stunning car.
lol thank you! I have to admit I like it a lot more now after he knocked a lot of the grandpa off of it lol
Very Nice
Thanks Terry! I can’t believe I never got this one on video until now lol
Love it Rooney…super clean!
Thanks HB! Ya he wasn’t crazy about the color at first but he couldn’t believe how nice the car actually was so he had to have it lol and only like 54,000 on it when he got it
SWEEEEEEEEEEEET ride man!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks E! He says, at the moment no 440 swap he just wants a nice cruiser but we’ll see haha!!
That's a beautiful car. I'd always pick a Mopar over any other car in that era.
Thank you sir! He’s always loved the mopars too. He had a couple chargers and a dart and a Scamp back in the day so I think that’s why he wanted this one
Great color
It screams 70’s don’t it? lol
Good tunes 😎

Love it.😁👍
Thank you sir!
Like the color combo on this one.
Beautiful car. Though, I see you didn't opt for that rich Corinthian leather.😂
Lmao! The first one he wanted sure did lol it was burgundy with the white bucket seat leather and a 400, but sold like hours before he inquired
Awesome love the green interior
Thank you sir! It’s like sitting on a couch lol

This is before the Japanese took over Chrysler and changed name to Chlysler !
