    Thanks for this tuto, it helped me to find the issue. There was a "pump problem", it didn't deliver more than 2L/H in brew mode, but 15L/H in water mode. it seemed the pump was forcing into nothing, resulting in steam explosion. I found the group rotor was desynchronized. The "home" was not the good position for the rotor. I shutdown the machine in the correct position. After a cleaning, little greasing and check everything.. I tested, and... it worked !
    Many thanks !

    Hi there, I have a question. In our machine, I have changed the pads in the grinder because they were quite overused. There was a marking on the housing of the grinder, where I have to set it back to be in correct position. Sadly this setting was not really that what produces the perfect size of grounded coffee as originally. In this case we set it so, that is quite the same like the grounded coffee from stores. And the problem starts here. The coffee machine does not grind enough beans to make enough quantity of grounded coffee to get a solid pad of coffee on the end. So what comes out that looks more like mud. In this case the coffee is light, and it seams like there is no option to set the grinder higher to grind more coffee. Is there any way in the settings to fix this? Or is there any possible solution to solve this issue? Thanks you for all of helps in advance! Cheers!

    My Machine is stuck on the beginning of the descale cycle. Once the machine is ready to press start, I press start but it will not begin the start of the descaling cycle it just sits there with the descaling symbol and PAUSE. Is there any fancy trick on being able to get out of this cycle?

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear

      the strongest that the Minuto will dose out is 10 grams, that is the 3 bean selection. This is enough for a single shot, so you're getting out a volume higher than an ounce, it is just pulling extra water through those grounds, which will weaken the shot. You should try to keep the volume around 1 oz., and you will get a better flavor, and if you're looking for 2 shots, then just double-tap the button so it goes through the grind and brew process twice. - Miranda

    Hi! I noticed that the coffee is not VERY hot as I like it. Do you know if there is a way to raise the temperature?

    • @z1ph0n3
      @z1ph0n3 10 лет назад

      By pressing the bottom ones (left and right buttons) together and powering on, another menu appears. It has 2 settings and the steam symbol. The first setting is named CONT and the other is named GAIN. I think they both relate to steam, I just wish to find a setting to get my coffee hotter.

    • @z1ph0n3
      @z1ph0n3 10 лет назад

      Zibri There are also other cominations, one is a display test and another one decompresses the machine from residual steam pressure. That's really useful for servicing.

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  10 лет назад

      Zibri Unfortunately there is no way to change the temperature. - Steven

      in other words there is no way YOU know. I can think at least 2 different ways to do that. Anyway I found the service menus (all 3 of them) and I can confirm there is no "soft" way as of now.

      Seattle Coffee Gear I know this was answered one year ago, but with your presentation I discovered that by raising the hot water testing to 90 and leaving it there, I finally have really hot water. I was about to return my machine because the water was 50 degrees C. It was almost cold. Knowing this could help people whose biggest complain seems to be the water not being hot. Thanks for the video anyway, very useful.

    I was just browsing a local store that sells Saeco machines a few days ago, and I was abhorred (YES DRAMATIC), by how poorly made the new Saeco machines have become. Anything under the stainless steel Intelia, looks like its completely all plastic. Even the buttons feel cheap and poorly made. I'm sure they make great coffee, but I'm worried that the Philips influence is seeping in and making Saeco cut corners to make more profits. (Yes I know previous Saeco models like the Odea etc were mostly plastic, but that plastic seemed much higher quality than now!).

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  10 лет назад

      I totally agree with you on this model, but some of the others are actually a nice and higher grade plastic than they've used in the past (the Intelia, for example). The Intuita and this guy are not as high grade on the casing, but the internals are very similar to other models so hopefully they'll stand the test of time. - Kat
