Nice video! I think you lay out very well how different comedy works and can be combined. Funny video as well, not including all the scenes from the movie. I think this might be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen but, sadly, I have seen it only one time so far. There are comedies which I like more overall as movies, such as Sherlock, Jr. and Life of Brian, but this one is funnier. Good work on the video, and I sincerely want to think that the analysis and research did not lower the movie's comedic effect for you.

It is actually distracting to what you are telling us. Yes, I love the movie and have seen it multiple times (though not to do the analysis you have done here). The point I am making is that the music is completely unnecessary to your points. As I have asked other hosts that play music while they are talking to us, I ask that you not do it all as well. I prefer Hot Shots over Airplane, but it’s close and both are excellent.
Hot Shots, Top Secret, Naked Gun.... we just need more movies in that style again.
