- Here we walk you through the step by step process to change your valve stem seals. Not too hard to do at home it is a slight pain doing it 16 times but you'll get faster with the process on each valve.

I love seeing young kids like you guys working on motors. Keep up the good work.
yes sir will do! I feel bad for not posting as long as we have but sometimes thats just life and you have to take a hold on things. we will for sure be back to posting like we were very soon!
Nicely done. Thanks for your time and effort put into making this video.
You literally fast-forwarded through the useful part
I just set the playback speed to 0.25 to see what was up, but it would have been useful to not zip past the point of the video.
I didn’t see, or hear any mention of setting the rocker nuts to the correct tension for gap afterward.
If you go to the 4:00 mark that is the start of where we explain everything before the time lapse.
no you don`t.......... we want to know about the clearance of the `tappetts` when rockers and push rods are refitted. is the rocker held by the nut which rests on a shoulder so its set when tightened?
I can't believe you sped up the important part to actually watch. Made your video kinda useless. I could look up an explanation how to do it in print.
I would try to get the best valve stem seal for the heads.
Also the valve cover gaskets can be glued to the valve cover, cork or silicone. This prevents oil from getting in between the gasket and cover.
Great Job Guys 💪🏼
I need that tool!
Use a sun filter or close the garage doors, by the way the useful bits are nice if you slow down and explain what you're doing
Noted!
58 years of it and back trouble now
Do I just need the motor to tdc or tdc each piston as I go
Way late answer, but you just gotta set it so the valves are seated. Somewhere along the compression stroke would be perfect.
This looks like an 8 hr job for 16 valves!
lol you will get in a groove should only be a couple hours.
@@BasicMaintenance2 Maybe when I was 30 but now at 86 it may take a little longer; LOL
touchè sir, thats awesome you are still working on them tho! stay young
