I also want to know how on earth you keep everything so clean!!?? When I finish everything covered in resin. My torch, my heat guns, all the sticks and cups! I’m amazed at how clean you are when you’re finished. Kudos to you!!
I like it, its still really pretty, I definitely would not call this a fail, people would pay good money for that bowl, don't be too hard on yourself Julie, its great.
I think it turned out gorgeous. Real flowers don’t look the same as they do when just opening. Their full bloom is sometimes quit different . Your bowl is a full bloom of you coaster buds, definitely not a fail.
Even though it didn’t bloom properly it is still very pretty, it helps us because when we try things and fail we know we are not alone. So thank you for showing us your “fails”.
I'm always eager to see all you do. Your "accidents" are so pretty to me. As you know well by now, resin doesn't play by rules very much. So many variables to factor in! And larger pieces get complicated due to time factors. I'm tickled to see the successes you are having getting colors to "bloom" without the addition of white! I recently got to go to a large city, so purchased all sorts of sizes and shapes of plastic bowls to use as drape shapes. Please continue to show us your "fails". We all learn along with you. I love you, sweetie!
Not what you were after but a success nevertheless. Please make sure you do a video of your 2nd attempt. I’m looking forward to seeing how you do it differently. Have a wonderful day Julie. 🌺🌴
I watch at least one of your videos every morning with my coffee. I'm still struggling with blooms and watching your bloom journey is really helping me keep the faith. Your passion for your art and the sincerity of your videos always make me feel anything is possible. Thanks to you I am now in to acrylic pours as well. Your an inspiration and a talented artist. Thank you so much for sharing your art, your encouragement and positivity with us. Bless you.🤗
They can’t always turn out perfect otherwise we’d never learn from our mistakes!! It’s still very pretty so don’t be too hard on urself!!! Sometimes we need a little more practice to get them the way we want them!! I recently started doing coasters n I haven’t tried the 3D flower yet I’m anxious to try it!! I watch all ur videos n learn so much from them so thank u for actually sharing this one as well!!! I love ur positive energy it actually makes them more fun to watch!!! Again thank u 🥰🥰
💕don’t be so hard on yourself, you are so great for filming yourself, pour your disappointed heart out 💕 it still looks fab, although it’s not how you wanted it to look 💕 next time, instead of doing it clear, why not do it blue, with white flower bloom 💕 love watching 💕
Thank you for videoing this. I thought I was the only one who had the "blooming" disaster. (haha). Again, thanks for keeping it real. I will definitely keep watching.
It's a beautiful bowl, and even more so when you don't judge it comparatively against the "blooming" effect you wanted. The bowl is beautiful in its own right, on its own merit.
Thank you for showing the good and the "bad"! Working with resin is such a tricky task! Though it is not how you planned, it is still a beautiful piece!
It's gorgeous, Julie. I understand what you mean about how disappointing it can be when you work hard on a piece and it doesn't come out as you'd hoped. 💙
Even though it’s not exactly what you wanted it does look pretty, like the idea Michelle had of doing your background blue instead of clear then just doing white flowers. I really do like it and look forward to seeing your next one xx
Thanks, Julie! I guess it's like cooking, in a way - you can't always just double or halve a recipe! Thank you for sharing with us as it is interesting. Take care and stay safe!
It came out pretty...It is perfect with the coasters. I'd also like to see just the gold design with the center just as you do, but just that... with a gold edge. It really is pretty enough to stand alone.
It is lovely, but I think you should go around the petals the same way you did the coasters, and maybe once it’s fully cored after putting over your bowl to make a bowl you could still pour over the blue, you can do it Julie, I have faith in you every step of the way, you have so much talent, I just know if anyone can do it, you can, I know your going to say it’s not not possible to do it that way, but if you leave the blue to get as thick as it possibly can get, I think it could work, have the faith xx
Never give up! I don't think it is a fail, it is an imperfect art on any given day, it set, a lesson learned that heat is a necessity, but it is very pretty regardless
I tried the Deco pen and it works too! I did an experiment with acrylic paint, deco pen and my other pens and they all work. The acrylic paint not so much because it pulls into puddles on the silicone. But I was so happy the Deco worked!
Thank you for sharing this! I know you don’t love it, but I definitely learned some things. And it’s definitely not the worst piece ever. It still has beautiful colors and the gold is perfect!
It's beautiful! It really is! I know how disappointing it is when a vision isn't fully realized, though. I have many, MANY examples myself! 😂 Thank you for having the courage to post what you consider not perfect. Imagine how discouraging it would be for your followers if you only posted the perfect ones. But that's not reality because we only have so much control. Not to mention, that's how the term "Facebook life" came about and heaven knows we don't need more impossible expectations of ourselves! You do gorgeous work- thank you for sharing it with us❣️🤗
It's still pretty, just not what you were hoping for. Go ahead and split up your resin. You can have two or three piping cups with the same colors. Definitely different with larger amounts of resin. As you said, you will conquer it. 🤩
I understand the vision vs reality in art. I get very frustrated myself. My husband always points out in the end it is still beautiful. You are very talented & make beautiful art :)))
Hi Julie, I got my molds today and am so very excited and nervous. I am going to study the videos and will try over the weekend. All of your coasters and bowls are just beautiful and unique. Thanks for sharing all the techniques related to coasters with bling and some of the bowls.
I can see that it didn't do what you wanted. Thank you for showing us anyway. I like it even if it doesn't match the coasters. Matching different pieces is hard. Give yourself a break. Love it and want to see the next. Still pretty, reminds me of tie-dyed clothes.
Ooooooh!!!!! I have the exact same set & have been wanting to do something different because it is a pain trying to get any kind of handles to look right. Gonna try this for sure
Something you could try as you can't do a resin blue layer, is to use spraypaint on the back instead - regular spraypaint might not be a good colour match but there's probably carpaint that looks similar!
You can paint dry Mica where you used your gold pen. Looks just as good finished and your pens last longer. I like this set and so would others. They are unique. ❤️
It might help if you add isocol alcohol to the coloured resin before you pour for runnier blooms. Also using a straw may work? I think it’s really pretty. The coasters are just lovely.
It's personal choice but it is recommended that you use a respirator, or at least a mask. At the very least, use the resin in a well ventilated area, or even outside! They recommend these as the particles can enter your lungs, I believe, causing possible medical problems in the future!
Yes Julie❣️ You are good, you can make gold from a stone. I thought that was really pretty 🤩 Thank you for sharing even if it’s not optimal❣️ I like it very much 😄
Good Day Julie! I'm glad to be watching this resin experiment. Sorry I've been AWOL..? A bit under thee weather ( not Covid- related.) Thank God. But none the same, I'm in high spirits and that's more than I can ask for! Beautiful work my friend, you just keep getting better all along the way. You're never afraid trying new things! 🎨🖌️🖼️ Most Sincerely Crystal Elk Sending positive vibes your way. Peace love dream's!🇨🇦 💞🌐📷📽️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌎💜🌍💙🌏🕊️💕🌌😉

It looks crocheted pretty 😮
We are our own worse critics, I really do like it, I’m glad you showed this video. ♥️
I’m glad you posted this video. It encourages people to keep going even though it didn’t turn out the way you wanted.
I love this look. It looks like lace!
I like it, its still really pretty, I definitely would not call this a fail, people would pay good money for that bowl, don't be too hard on yourself Julie, its great.
Exactly! One persons oops is anothers AHHH!
To this day, I love how you go for it. No holds barred. Thanks for sharing.
I do love the bowl. Kind of looks like lace.
I thought the same thing. To me, it has a delicate look to it.
I think it turned out gorgeous. Real flowers don’t look the same as they do when just opening. Their full bloom is sometimes quit different . Your bowl is a full bloom of you coaster buds, definitely not a fail.

I CANT BELIEVE THE INCREDIBLE WORK YOU DO. YOU ARE Amazing.
I love to see you just go!!!
Even tho it wasn't how you wanted it, it is a beautiful bowl! I would be super happy if I could do that! ❤
Thank you for showing this, much appreciated! It's beautiful!
Thank you very much for showing us you want to see everything you do no matter if you like it or not we love to see it

The way those blue pedals look with the white behind is amazing and stunning !
Ooh that's a first - I've never seen anyone take resin temperature before!
I hope it felt better once poured. 😃😃

That is such a cute that's what you call one of the kind
Thank you for sharing it’s still beautiful
Wow how beautiful...nice color
Thank you for videoing this. I thought I was the only one who had the "blooming" disaster. (haha). Again, thanks for keeping it real. I will definitely keep watching.
Love your art. It would be helpful to list the products you used with links.
I think it's good you show us also the perfect one, we all have those ❤️🙏
That is so BEAUTIFUL to me!
It's a beautiful bowl, and even more so when you don't judge it comparatively against the "blooming" effect you wanted. The bowl is beautiful in its own right, on its own merit.

Julie, I think it is very pretty. I will make sure that the white and blue are thicker so the bloom turns out better.
I think it looks awesome.
I do like this even with its flaws. Helps me to learn.
Thanks, Julie! I guess it's like cooking, in a way - you can't always just double or halve a recipe! Thank you for sharing with us as it is interesting. Take care and stay safe!
I think its gorgeous.
So beautiful! I would never notice this was anything other than spectacular! It looks great with the gold added to the outside edge. 🌸🌸🌸

Lovely work! You are so entertaining, love your accent. I never seen something like this with paint & resin
Love the finished product with the gold around the edge!

You did your best the bowl still came out beautiful Julie I love it
Thank you for sharing information.
It’s still looking good 🌹🌹😘
It is beautiful. On your second attempt. You might finish with a ring of blue around the outside so it matches the blue on the outside of the coasters
It’s a great beatiful handwork, thanks for sharing your work, and thoughts, sorry for your being nervous, it’s lovely 😊
Thank you for sharing this! I know you don’t love it, but I definitely learned some things. And it’s definitely not the worst piece ever. It still has beautiful colors and the gold is perfect!
beautiful, I like it so much 👍🏻👍🏻👏👏
They look very very pretty!
Very pretty. Love the shape
It's really beautiful

I used the oil based Uni paint metallic pens on the same mold and it works well. It comes off onto the resin very nicely!!
Still think it's lovely though Julie. The molds are super pretty.
I know you will try this again. I can't wait to see that!!!
عن جد روعة يسلم ايدكي ما شاء الله مبدعة

I know you don’t like the bowl but I think you did great. I love it. It’s very beautiful indeed.
The outside blue border is super beautiful. It is not easy to do such a big one !! Well done right!
I can see that it didn't do what you wanted. Thank you for showing us anyway. I like it even if it doesn't match the coasters. Matching different pieces is hard. Give yourself a break. Love it and want to see the next. Still pretty, reminds me of tie-dyed clothes.
Thank you for sharing your art... It's still pretty.... even though it wasn't what you wanted...have a great evening/morning...💙💛💙
The bowl and coasters match beautifully! Thanks Julie!

Julie I do resin and I think it's beautiful, just because it didn't bloom doesn't mean it's not pretty, I think it's gorgeous. Good job 👍🏼
I love it!! Nothing you do really fails!!
I liked how you did the longer petals on the smaller ones where you matched the petal shape of the mold. Maybe do that next time on the larger one?
Where can I get those molds ?
@@neylasol5950 I got them from amazon
fantastic idea
I think it is very pretty💕
Beautiful 😊

I think you're the only resin artist I've watched who doesn't use a respirator. Is it not really necessary to use?
It's personal choice but it is recommended that you use a respirator, or at least a mask. At the very least, use the resin in a well ventilated area, or even outside!

I am glad you're gonna try again But it is pretty
Beautiful!!!!!
Pretty!
That’s totally wonderful and I like it so much 🌸💕🌷
I think it looks great. Would u recommend doing a top coat of resin on the inside of the bowl x
I think it looks beautiful, and you should do whatever works for you. 💜
I just got this mold today!! I sure didn’t realize it was that big!! I love your bowl!!!
I actually love all your videos!!
It's still very pretty. Maybe it might work better with bigger petals.
Still very pretty and useful
It's not a perfect match but it is complimentary to the coasters. And it is pretty by itself, all shiny in the Australian sun.
Too cute 🥰
Love your channel!
I love it.
WOW! Beautiful artwork! Big thumbs up from me!!! 🔥😍🔥
It may not have turned out like you wanted but it's still pretty.
I see you got some colour arte! Amazing pigments aren't they! I absolutely love them!
Don’t be too hard on yourself I think it’s just beautiful love AnneUK xxx
