Nick, I wanted to say thank you for this episode, and having these vulnerable conversations. I lost my best friend, my dog, yesterday, and this just hit me hard but made me realize how the relationships around me matter, my kid, my wife matter and u need to be better about telling them that each day.
Oh, I loved the walking/falling analogy to challenges in life! I so need to hear this at this time in my life where I am trying to do new and (for me) scary things and am so afraid to fail. Thank you Sally!

Great ultra, I watched your race vid. Excellent brand and Chanel as well. Today’s 7km run, 30min boxing 🥊 & 1.5hr full body workout before work was excellent. Excited to do it again tomorrow & 4 days a week ) 🇹🇼
I can’t see you keeping this up for more than 2 months. You’re overtraining and you’ll burn out. I’ve seen it time and time again. I train for longevity.
That quote about the restaurant that has the "Best Cheeseburger in town 2008" plaque up is hilarious. Reminds me of this old butcher shop I used to work in as a kid and the owner had awards for "Best Butcher shop 2012" and it went up to 2018. What's hilarious is that butcher shop was the only one in our area for those 6 years and when another finally opened, people realized ours was just mediocre.
It’s funny when we talk about off-season’s pet is there anything else but running because here in the south, I live in Georgia and you can run all the time and there’s races all the time. Oh no there’s winter but you run through the winter and you can find 5K‘s, half marathon, marathon, and throw races even in the winner, and then March is right around the corner with marathon season and it just keeps on going and then after even in the summer here’s 100 miles all through like October OCEU I gotta actually be really careful. Luckily I’m broke and I can’t afford all these races but um yeah yo-yo’s you’ll see in in the southeast and it could get really ridiculous but I hope you enjoy Tennessee. It’s a great place. I’ve ran a lot around Tennessee, but not in Nashville itself.

It’s funny when we talk about off-season’s pet is there anything else but running because here in the south, I live in Georgia and you can run all the time and there’s races all the time.
