"You're Inching!" Eliza nailed that.
Lol, absolutely. It was so Buffy🤣
It's a shame that Eliza doesn't get as much to do in this one as Sarah, but that entire scene with Giles is just absolute gold.
You know a character has gone bad in the Buffy-Verse when they start wearing leather pants.
What about Buffy at the end of Graduation Day part 1? That one's kind of a gray area for me.
@@ronfehr7899 Well she does try to kill faith when she has that pants so in a way, she goes bad a little
Like... Wesley? 😂

"Because it's wrong."
The writing. Is so. Amazing.
Oh yeah, that relatable breakdown when Faith is beating up her own body. Whew.
The excited gasp/squeal at "Yours" - yep, we've all felt that way about Tara! 🥰🥰🥰
Sarah Michelle Gellar is absolutely fantastic at playing Faith here. She really captures Eliza's vocal cadences and replicates her mannerisms impeccably. She is a phenomenal actor.
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku, who play Buffy and Faith (or in this episode Faith and Buffy) really make this episode work.
They've spent quite some time watching old footage and studying each other's mannerisms
Unfortunately, Eliza had way fewer scenes.
@@jp3813
eventually joss gave her her own show to make it up to her.
This is easily my favorite Faith-centered episode. She's so well-written and sympathetic, even after all she's done. I attribute a lot of her appeal to the way Eliza plays her, as her mannerisms and body language convey so much, so the fact that it was Sarah's acting that carried this pivotal storybeat really blew me away. This episode was a masterclass in playing someone else, on both sides. The ending with Faith deriding herself is so raw and unfiltered. We've always been able to see that she's putting up a front, but now we see the cost of what she had to do to keep it up. Faith was always unhappy in her life, but after killing that guy, she lost all sense of self-worth and threw her life away in service to the mayor. The fact that he actually cared about her and gave her what was likely her only bit of true nurturing only served to further twist her sense of herself. I absolutely love the fact that Buffy was able to see firsthand what was really going on in Faith's head. Someone needed to understand, and now, Buffy does.
God, I love this show.
It's basically Face/Off (1997). Although Eliza should've been given more scenes.
the magic scenes being sexual are of course a great way to avoid the "censorship" that was still a thing back then
This was Joss giving a massive finger to the network over the censorship: got told he can't write sex scenes for them (hell, they couldn't even kiss on screen), so he deliberately wrote the steamiest possible sex-scene-that-isn't-actually-a-sex-scene. Excellent.
@@terrystickland219 and he only gets better at flipping them off😉🤫🤫🤫
the "what do you want from her" scene kills me every time like we dont know everything faith has been through in that regard but i think it says a lot that she cant help but want to protect her from what she perceives as a bad/scary situation
It is heavily implied that Faith was SA as a child.
I'm so glad you got right away that Faith-in-Buffy was fighting herself and talking about herself when she calls Buffy-in-Faith a disgusting murderous bitch! It annoys the heck out of me when reactors don't get that, it's such a gut-punch moment to realize just how much Faith hates herself.
Agreed. Awesome reaction.
There are actually people who don’t get that? Wow… it’s obvious!
Yeah which reactors haven’t? Most I’ve seen understand it
@@interstellardave Incredibly YES!!! I've seen it happening and I still can't believe it!!!😱🤦♂‼
And you know what annoys me? The fact that because of that scene people see other fights like that. Like they all should have the same meaning. They just see Buffy fights someone other than regular demon hunting and their brain just does 'copy/paste' of the meaning. And that's enough for them.
The acting this episode is amazing 💜
One thing I noticed about Tara almost immediately was that the worst of her stuttering would occur whenever she was nervous or flustered. It totally went away whenever she was with Willow.
Actually fairly standard in many people who stutter 🤷. Most just have a harder time finding their comfort zone that allows them to speak without "tripping"
My favorite actress playing other character moment is Eliza as Buffy in the scene with Giles as she tries to convince him who she is. Everything from her walking in the door to after Willow officially introduces Buffy to Tara officially is purely how Sarah Michelle Gellar would do and say it.
OMG it's one of the first times you cry watching this show !!! you're not an easy person to move to tears so I'm very happy this ep got you (sorry this sounds sadistic but you know what I mean 😋) so many great cries to come tho
“-I am, you know?
-Why?
-Yours”
24 years seeing this and always react like you
Ah yes the moment when Faith mocks Tara for her nervous stutter. It’s the moment when, if you hadn’t realized it already, you realize how much you love Tara and will protect her from anything.
And just to point out: Tara has now been in a total of 6 eps, and not the main focus of any of them, yet here we are.
Except back when this show was airing, Tara apparently had a lot of haters. Especially from Oz fans.
@@jp3813this is correct. I watched the series XTAS it came out originally in the 90s. People *_hated_* Tara to begin with.
These two actresses deserved awards for this episode! Eliza especially as Buffy was masterful!
Wish they gave her more scenes in this episode.
Yep, somewhat controversial opinion in the fandom but I think Eliza nailed the impression better than Sarah in this episode, although tonbe fair, Sarah was playing a harder, more convulted role: Faith pretending to be Buffy.
Faith fighting herself...new meaning of beating yourself up about internal issues...what a show
Cass at 3:42 recreating nearly the entire fandom's reaction when subtext turned to text
It makes sense that Tara is the one to realize Buffy was not herself. Everyone else saw what the expected to see because they know her by SIGHT. Tara felt something was off because a friend of Willow would not act that way so she peered closer.
Next up is my favorite ep. of season 4. Most people would pick 'Hush'.
**cough*restless*cough**
I think it’s more because Tara is in total harmony with magic and energy. So she could sense a natural energy having been violated and fragmented artificially by magic.
Willow however did not, because Willow only uses magic for selfish purposes to fix things around to her liking.
Tara’s magic is about balance. Willow’s magic is all about herself. Makes sense Tara was the one to figure it out.
It's a small detail (of which there are simply too many to count in Buffy), but the scene where Faith (in Buffy's body) is being punched by the newly confident vampire, and Buffy (in Faith's body) stakes him from behind almost identically mimics a pivotal scene in season 3.
I refer to the moment where Faith saves Buffy from Mr. Trick at the docks, staking him from behind, just before Faith joins the Mayor's team. This time, I think it's a kind of symbolic, full-circle moment; as if to say, "we're even".
I guess this is a good moment to pitch *Dollhouse.*
It's another Whedon show where Eliza Dushku plays the protagonist... and many, many other characters.
When the whole Buffyverse reactions are done, Dollhouse is definitely a great thing to watch :)
A stevedore is a beefcake dock worker.
Buffy has used the line "it's wrong or "your wrong many times over the senses, it's one of those phrases that has different weights and different meanings....excellent writing ❤
Imagine the series finale is everyone in group therapy XD
It surely _should_ be!!;-P
I really love your wish that everyone has a happy ending. And I think most of the fandom also likes Faith quite a bit.
These are my favorite Buffy reactions. So much fun and love how into the show you are. I look forward to these every week.
1:31 - The thing is, confirmation bias is going to be really strong with those that know her best. Beyond knowing her well, they also don't for a second expect that it's not her, so they can explain anything she does and says in their own head as just Buffy being a little off, or just them overthinking it.
Someone who doesn't know her, but knows how her friends (or, in this case, one friend) talks about her and views her, is more likely to see and hear the person without any preconceived bias.
Of course, the magic helps, too. lol
I agree with you about Adam, Bored now. Whenever he shows up I always feel like he brings the show to a grinding halt.
Buffy fans really are all so different from each other, as Adam is my second favorite big bad, and something he does in the next episode (a top ten episode for sure) just blew my mind. I’ll never understand why other fans don’t love him.
@@RLucas3000 I can see why people find him boring, but he will never be _the_ most boring Big Bad...I can't say the name because it's spoiler but I think I _can_ say that it's the Big Bad from S7.
The Initiative as a whole is my least favorite big bad, but I'm lukewarm okay with Adam.
@@NicamonRight there with you. Such a snore
21:24: A visual call-back to S3, on the docks, when Faith killed a vamp, just saving Buffy. But this time it’s Buffy in Faith’s body, just saving Faith (in Buffy’s body). Poetic justice😄
A couple of notes. The throwback to the "hyena spirit" from S1 was nice. One of the things I have always loved about BtVS is how self-referential it often is, little Easter eggs that you often find. On a similar note, in this episode, Buffy-in-Faith's body kills a vampire and appears to Faith-in-Buffy's body as the vamp dust clears. This is a visual callback to S3/E15, when Faith kills Mr. Trick, and appears through the dust in the same pose.
Thanks for the reaction.
that moment you teared up watching faith fight ‘herself.’ i watched it like five times it’s the Exact mood, and i tear up myself every time. your brief moment of laughter before and Gah. i ADORE your analyses & predictions don’t get me wrong, that’s a Huge part of what makes me love your reactions in particular, but that moment (likely Because of your analyses etc) is Why i love reactions. that genuine moment of realization, i was waiting for that since the last ep (which sounds like a short amount of time but feels so big to me having been waiting w baited breath for this vid since the first dropped)
anyways, great video, i’m adoring watching your btvs journey. when i have more expendable cash im def planning on investing in your patreon cuz there are certain angel eps i’d love to see your reaction to, along w just seeing how you feel about that show in general compared to my own feelings. hope you’re well!
I understand that the Council is literally the most incompetent group in this show, but waiting until the coma patient has woken up to kidnap her is the epitome of stupidity.
Tyres on an armoured truck are "run flats" so you can't shoot them out.
Omg are you watching Buffy for the first time and recording your reaction in every episode??? I found my kind of videos!!!! Looooooveeeeeee
They're great reactions with thoughtful analysis. I like that she pauses the video when she needs to instead of talking over it and missing things. Start from the beginning! Also check out TheLexiCrowd for good Buffy reactions.
Faith is no stranger when it comes to sex. But her reaction to genuine intimacy was interesting.
Hitting the tires of a moving vehicle is a lot harder than most people realize.
Oh your reaction to "yours" mirrored mine exactly!
One of the best episodes of television ever ❤
That's right Cass. You knew it all along from the second it happened back in Season 3. @ 21:52 That moment when Faith is beating up Buffy but in her body and calling herself a "murderous bitch" and that she's "nothing", that she hated herself for what she did along with all the hurt she's done afterwards. This moment always brings tears to my eyes.
We know she never meant to kill that guy, Allan Finch, who worked for the mayor. It was a total accident. She freaked out. And instead of facing it, she ran and went into denial. She has been hating herself ever since. That's what this whole scene was about. Just like you, I also never stopped believing that there was still some good in Faith. That it is possible she could one day want to atone for her sins. But has that day come? Where is she going? Is she gonna retreat and change her whole identity to start over and live a good life? 🤷♀
Amen.
The use of the word "katra" for the means of switching souls is a neat little Star Trek reference. In the movie Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, the Katra is explained as the Vulcan equivalent to our concept of a soul, and while Dr. McCoy is in possession of him he has "episodes" where it appears as if Spock is possessing him.
Also I love how on the same page you are with the fandom in general when it comes to your reaction to a lot of these things. When season 4 was at this point in airing, everyone wanted to see more of Faith and get a redemption arc, everyone was excited by Willow and Tara's relationship becoming more explicitly romantic/sexual, and everyone was pretty much in agreement that Adam was the worst Big Bad the show has had so far and would need some drastic changes in writing to save that aspect of the season.
Eliza was so good in this episode. Both SMG and Eliza Dushku did amazing jobs but I was really impressed by Eliza Dushku.
I loved your reaction to this ep!!
Once you’ve finished Buffy you can go into Dollhouse which is Eliza pretending to be lots of people.
Also has some other great performances
Oh, I agree with this, 100%
Ok when you teared up I teared up….
You always post right when I need you to!!
I think this episode finally broke you xD I think it's the first time you couldn't hold back the tears and you're at that point where we all end up at some point... you want to experience more from everyone and at the same time just have them live in peace forever xD
@5:44 I think that sort of smile was a bit of both. She is glad that she fooled Willow, but also, having any sort of friendship is also something that makes you fool good, even if it isn't real.
If you loved this episode with a body switch you should watch Dollhouse great show two seasons written and created by the Buffy team stars Eliza Dushku (actress who plays Faith) and she is legit playing different people every week.
Nobody picked up on it because nobody spent more than ten minutes with her. Tara only knew because of her unique passive magical abilities. The characters do not have the perspective nor knowledge the audience has, for them to spend five minutes with a friend and assumed they've been possessed because they are acting a bit cranky would honestly be insane.
Yeah, I think she has done some pretty irredeemable things. She basically pulled a Revenge of the Nerds on Riley. Fans seem to give her a lot of slack, which speaks volumes.
Thank you! Fans give Faith way too much slack, in my opinion, I don't get it, honestly. And this is from someone who had a similar childhood to Faith. I understand why Faith does what she does, but to just be like aw poor Faith, no matter what she does? Where's the line?
Absolutely cracking episode - and one of the best (and shortest) lines from the whole series 'Yours'.
I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror
Faith is such an amazing character. 💖
Oh, you poor girl. "I want them all to get therapy and be happy." If only! Excellent reaction. 💙
I knew you'd love this episode.
I have been waitingggg for you to get to this one! One of my fav episodes (Adam stuff aside, I'm with you on Adam boring lol) -- I just love Faith so much, and the depth this ep brings to her character, and how well and compelling both actresses played it! And of course !!!!! the "you are you konw?" ... "mine" ahhhhhhh!
Honestly I love the vampire Adam convinced to walk into a church. He did a fine job with him...if he was able to talk with more vampires they would have conquered at least 1 of the ways people can fight them...Christian symbols. It's a pretty powerful thing...from what I remember, only 2 other vampires were unfazed by crosses:the Master and that big crazy dude who kidnapped Joyce...and I think even _they_ never entered a church. It was actually a pretty impressive goal. Too bad he was killed so short after. I not ironically miss him. :"-
There’s so much to appreciate for Faith’s arc but one of my favorite is the ongoing unsaid behind-the-vampire-staking Faith has done since she was introduced-the poof of a vampire only to reveal it was Faith, but it’s Buffy doing it in Faith’s body this time
Such a great episode for all the actors here! and next: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Ah, didn't you know the whole show ends with them coming out of therapy, fully healed, smiling?
"Faith Unfortunately you are a killer" That's the thing. Faith is trying to wash away her sins by becoming a new person. Faith knows SHE'S a killer. But in her mind she's Buffy now. "I'm not a killer" is her idea of not being a killer now because she's Buffy now. I mean it doesn't work that way, but that's what Faith is trying to do.
I don’t think Faith wants to become Buffy and act her out like a character. It’s that Buffy’s position (a person with friends, family and love) allows her show who she really is.
Faith is _not_ a killer at heart. Her first murder was simply an accident. And she only doubled down because she didn’t know how to process her guilt, and with no friends and family to help her as Buffy had, she turned to the Mayor, who, despite sincerely loving her, forced her to double down. She started killing to gain his approval and got lost in it.
Her stating “I am *_not_* a killer “ is her very first declaration of who she truly is. She’s in a safe space (Buffy body and Buffy’s world) where she can be genuinely honest. And at her core, she is not a bad person. Not a killer.
The turmoil she faces now comes with reconciling who she is versus what she’s done.
@@arc7375 Angel tried to help, and Buffy had said she wouldn't give up on her and Giles said "Then I think she stands a chance" she just didn't accept the help.
@@kellysummersgill704 that's because she had no trust in Buffy and co at this point. Remember ep 7 Revelations? pivotal moment for Faith where she stops trusting Buffy. and she was already a loner ofc, it's implied that she had been betrayed or treated like shit by almost everyone in her life before Sunnydale
@@RoseJackson1607 This is why I have a hard time being on Faiths side. I come from a home with an abusive mum who tortured me most of my childhood and teens but didn't do that to my sister. An absent father who didn't give a toss, black sheep of my family coz everyone favoured my sister, cruelly bullied by other kids outside of the house and so much other stuff that I don't wanna mention. I have had a horrific life and I now suffer from mental illness where I can't go out on my own. But I am still a kind person with morals. People so often blame her actions on whats she been through but to me its no excuse. She had a choice, and at one point she was still hanging out with Buffy while working with the Mayor behind her back.
While it is never stated outright, it is strongly hinted that Faith was SA as a child (before she was called as a slayer). From her choice of inappropriate sexual partners, to her association of sex and violence to her dissociation of herself from her body during sex and that she doesn't see her own pleasure as an important factor in sex. Mix all that together and she is dealing with her sexual trauma by... recreating it in a semi-controlled setting. As a way of reclaiming her lost power. But it also just keeps her traumatized.
Awesome episode; kudo's to the actresses!
22:20 yuppp
Faith is definitely one of the most interesting characters on the show! I totally get why you want Faith to be there all the time, but I guess this way it's more special? Idk.
I watch this one back to back, so I saved the previous one to watch the two of them together 😁😁
Your tears were delicious🤤🤣
13:05 Way simpler: She's an experienced witch.
Also, a good person and lives in harmony with her Magic.
Willow is presented as sweet and quirky, but is a deeply selfish and self-centered person. She wouldn’t realise anything with magic unless it affected her personally.
Tara uses magic in harmony with reality and with balance in her life. Willow however, uses magic as a tool for control to “fix” things to her personal liking when she has a personal grievance. And that also includes using magic on other people without their knowledge or consent, like she tried with Xander and Oz.
@22:23 a MOOD
On spot reaction and you are commended for understanding the emotional self hatred that is within Faith. Don’t forget that she was willingly with/ manipulated by the Mayor for his evil purposes. ( so much happens we forget his home movie and his mind control games in Part 1)
When we saw this live, this was when I first heard negative words and thoughts about Riley. The girls that still were on the Bangle bus never were totally with Riley but this halted many chances to get in the game. I heard either “ how did Riley not know?” Or “ Angel would have known because he really loves her”. After hearing this for a couple of days, I knew Riley had lost the girls
I can't wait for season 5 and Season7 with you and I hope you share Angel season 4 on here.
You did amazing ❤❤❤100
I think you might hate the Council the most due to "Helpless", what they put her through for her 18th birthday.
You were not surprised at all that Tara was the first to notice something wrong with Faith/Buffy. Other reactors, however, were somewhat surprised. I think most of the ones I've seen would lean towards it being Willow.
I feel bad for Cass, some people are very passive aggressive commenting here and... for nothing.
Love her comments and predictions, she is one of the best Buffy reactors right now.
People need to chill... she never watched the show before and she is allowed to have her own opinions.
Faith as Buffy definitely changed something in her.
And yeah, the transformation of the "because it’s wrong" throughout the episode was great.
I'm reading all the comments(trying to,at least,I wanna start the ep but I don't know how many comments I have left!@.@)and I've seen no comments of that kind for now. What are you talking about?🤨EDIT: Oh. I only had 2 comments left(1 with 1 reply and 1 with 5 replies).😅
@@Nicamon the "have you seen any of the show" and the Riley r@pe one.
Willow is stronger than Tara. Significantly. But Tara is much more hooked into the intuitive / wise woman side of witchcraft. Her perception is better
25:00 Who spoiled you for Season 7 when all the characters go through therapy and emerge as well adjusted adults and nothing bad happens to anyone?
When faith say " because its wrong" in the church. She wants to be buffy. Shes starting to become her. You can tell in the way she meant it.😢
Awesome reaction as always, and great post-show analysis. Faith is played by Eliza Dushku by the way.
Almost everyone agrees with your reaction to Adam by the way. 😜
Actually, Faith is played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Eliza Dushku plays Buffy.
As soon as you said "Riley's the type who likes to take orders", I thought "What is she getting at, exactly?" It was so hilarious when you finished your thought.
By the way, a bit of trivia. "Katra" is a Star Trek thing. I don't know if you've watched any of the shows or movies, but basically katra is the Vulcan equivalent of a soul. I don't know if the writers meant to reference that when they came up with the soul-switching thing's name, but there it is.
Per Faith--cue Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's season 1 theme song: ''She’s so broken inside!''
Really into the episode, and "kind of bored with Adam?" Check. Welcome to the whole season 4 vibe😊.
What's Also interesting is Adam got the vampire's to step into who they are. They feared God ,the Sun and The Slayer. Hiding in the Shadows. Only coming our at night. Being Immortal vampires fear death more than humans. So it shows pieces of Adam's full potential. He's a philosopher. He's A.I on steroids basically. He's also lost Through his teachings Hes Trying also to dind out Who he is. Couldn't have been a better title 🦾🦿🔋 #whoareyou 🎬👁⚔️🚪
Eliza was brilliant, Buffy from the start to the end. Sarah was until Riley saying ILY more Mean-Buffy from episode 2x1 and it tooks to that moment she truly becomes Faith. She was so worroed about Buffy could be used by Riley and becomes protective over her. It's so a crazy twist, that this so wrong experience (technical abusing of both Riley and Buffy) induced her waking moment, puttung her heart back on the right track.
Faith was much, but never mean, so the moment she mocks Tara was out-of-charactere (and her weird way to sit down was not Faith at all too).
I wished they did some irreversable damage to that spitting counsil guy, no none neither Buffy nor Faith nor anybody - deserves to be spited into the face.
It's so brilliant how they managed to portrait Faith in a way that the audience still keeps the faith for her having a redemption and a happy end. Your tears prooved it, since it shows that it still works roundabout 25 years after its first aired.
"Can everyone just end up having a happy ending" Who' knows? You've still got half of Buffy (and Angel) to watch. Maybe Joss Whedon will take that direction. Who knows?
When BTVS turns Hitchcockian. 21:58 Enjoy ~ 5 x 5.
After all these years, I finally had to look up what stevedore meant and EW 🤢. It's an image I did not want in my head given the context between Joyce and Giles. I wish I never looked it up lol.

*NO!!!!!* THERE'S NO WAY RUclips WON'T LET ME PUBLISH MY COMMENT ABOUT *THIS* EPISODE!!!!!!!>O
😇
The whole point was that they were sent by the council; so they are the council. They don't seem the touch-feely listening type; not really suited to committing murder in the name of good so maybe not these guys. Not sure which of the creative team said it but Faith-in-Buffy saying, "It's wrong," ~ with a different inflection each time, three times was deliberate so that, when she's confronting the vamps in the church she actually means it. I think Spike was just a little distracted by Buffy suddenly getting all in his action like that; whereas Tara had her mind on Willow, and likely what She had told Tara about Buffy, O! But how I remember the excitement when we got the tangible confirmation that Tara & Willow were actually a thing! We were actually getting a real gay couple; not an imaginary relationship. Even then, we expected it all to be taken away; we were so used to that it was almost impossible to imagine anything else. There's a reason why Faith & Tara are two of my favourite Buffyverse characters to write; this episode is a huge part of that, kerk
A "stevedore" is a burley type of guy who loads cargo at the docks. Joyce's description of Giles in the sack is a little dated, but we get the gist.
I don’t think I’ve encountered anyone who doesn’t adore Tara.
🤍🤍🤍🤍(I've seen some comments, but they are extremely rare. As it should be!)
i'm pretty indifferent. same with oz who most seem to love. maybe i'm a sociopath.
The warmest and most lovely character in the entire series. We all should have a Tara in our lives.
I think most of the fandom agrees with you about Adam, he's by far the "Big Bad" that I've seen the least praise of. It doesn't really help that he doesn't even show up until halfway through the season - Maggie Walsh was originally conceived as the main villain of the season but her actress had to leave due to scheduling conflicts. I think the concept behind Adam could've been interesting, but the writers didn't seem to know how to develop upon it (which I can't really fault them for considering the circumstances).
TBH I will forever prefer Adam over S7 Big Bad.
"He should have just shot at the tire", does she even know how difficult that is? That is like the people saying police should just people in the leg. Both are incredibly difficult, especially with both being in motion.
One would assume there's training for that...
@@TheRealGSmith Yeah, for snipers, the best shots. There is a reason that the tagets in shooting competitions are usually stationary.

@@cerrobueno they ruin the show for so many people
So this techincly is the second time Faith sexually assault someome (of course body swap sex is a bit tricky since it's very removed from our own reality, but by all intense and purpuse, you are tricking another person into sleeping with you). It does disappoint me a bit the shiw doesn't touch on this implication too much.
The show frames Riley as having cheated on Buffy.
The _reality_ is that Faith sexually assaulted both Riley and Buffy. But people then, as they are today, too ignorant to consider that men are equally able to be sexually and domestically assaulted just as women can. Especially by women.
@@arc7375 Agree, I feel bad for both Buffy and Riley.
12:50 I disagree. It’s not ironic that Tara was the one to realise Buffy was possessed. It’d be ironic if _Willow_ was the one to figure it out.
Tara is naturally in tune with magic. She uses it correctly and wisely, in harmony with reality. Willow, by contrast, is shown to learn magic and use it almost exclusively for selfish and trivial things. And she often uses magic on people without their knowledge or consent, such as trying to cast a spell on Xander to stop their lusting for one another, and another time to curse Oz for cheating on her.
Willow, as quirky and “loveable” as she is, is very self-centered. It’s only logical that her magic is equally used as something to strengthen her own control on her own self and fix things to her liking. Tara however, as I stated earlier, is in tune with the spirit world.
Giles warned Willow in Season 2 about playing with magic, and that once she’s opened a door to it, you can never shut it.
Does anyone know why she doesn’t react to any music videos? Why isn’t there any music video reactions post Lana del Rey born to die?
