Again a lot of stepwise motion and some smaller intervals, once in a while a larger leap. It sits well in the hands when arranged pianistically. Zingaro sounds like it might be gypsy. You know some Portuguese. Anyway, nice job, again. Really workmanlike work ethic and a wonderfully entertaining result. I sense you are growing, too. The project is ambitious; I was a repertoire warrior as a singer; perfected some for performance but ran over a lot of music. Guess I must have loved it, which I did and do.

This one went further with a melody that was very chromatic. Zingaro does mean gypsy! So it's a fun nod at Roma music. I don't know how accurate it is, but it made for a very dramatic piece. I know very little Portuguese! I count on Google Translate for help, but I do study French, Italian, Chinese and Spanish on Duolingo.
I have always read a lot of repertoire. I also encourage my students to read a lot of repertoire. I think the more music you are exposed to, the better. It's nice to learn different styles and play and listen to a wide variety of music. So many patterns made from just 12 notes! Love it. And will never get tired of it.
