I kinda like that beetles resolve land disputes by flinging eachother off of nature arenas rather than killing eachother. They seem to take it pretty seriously, too haha
They aren’t scary until the big ones fly towards you. Other than that beetles are probably the least scary insects and the ones I’m most comfortable holding.
fun fact: a hercules beetle can lift up to 850x his own weight. If they're as heavy as a regular human (70-90 kg), they will easly throw an M2 Abram Tanks like it's made out of cardboard.
