Dreamcatcher's showing us again why they're the "Face of Rock in K-Pop", delivering on an anthemic rock ballad. This is just another example of Dreamcatcher taking their core sound and giving us something totally new. After almost 20 title tracks/singles they're still keeping it fresh.

That fluffy floating creature is probably Siyeon. She sacrificed herself to protect Sua (Suayeon❤️🔥), so in the scene where all 7 of them walking forward, Siyeon eventually stopped walking and the fluffy creature accompany the members for her😭 Sua escaping from the exposed building without Siyeon proves this point. Also the scene Siyeon sitting in a not moving car is also a hint showing she is unable to continue the journey with the other members😢 But she's still smiling because she doesn't regret saving her love ones😭😭😭😭
I’m glad for all the lore-keepers and theorists of the fandom because I only ever have a vague idea what’s happening plotwise, lol. I keep getting distracted by how pretty they are. 😭😭😭
"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break, just like it can be good in a relationship to not be together all the time. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a seed. That leads my dark mind to believe that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on the way of wiping ourselves out. I could of course be wrong. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. I can also imagine they are building an ark to take plants and animals to another planet. It would make sense with quite a lot of the scenes in the MV. As you can see, my theory is not yet perfect. I also do not know why all three titles are in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. We lost Leez as a producer, but the team around Ollounder did a fantastic job! And as a bass player, I can say the slap bass is crazy! I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the director and the visual effects team all deserve a raise!
let me say this, DC is one of my ult groups and I don't know what is it about them, but their sound is so different and characteristic that my ears are blessed every time, I love that they stay true to themselves without following trends and I think that this is the very refreshing factor for me. Also my first listen is always the MV, then a stage, and then I come here to listen along with Fifi (it's a tradition for those groups we both follow) and this is one of the few times I had literal goosebumps at every listen. I LOVE they seemed to go back to a more traditional DC sound but at the same time they sound fresh and powerful as always.
The way that DREAMCATCHER don't know what bad songs are! btw, very agree about how underrated their talent are. For me, in vocals, they sitting at the very top alongside SNSD, Red Velvet, MM and such.. they are too good

with their renewed contract and the title being "Bon Voyage" it could easily sound like a farewell song but i like to think of it as a goodbye and farewell to the past 7 years for them and how they are going to embark on a different:/new journey going forward. but also i think it has a double meaning for fans since fans have been with them on this journey those 7 years and so dreamcatcher is wishing them well for their future endeavors as well 💙 but also quite literaly they're saying farewell to this trilogy/concept so all around it's such a good song to end it off on.
Dreamcatcher are not afraid to offer us something different. They are not mainstream, they never was, and they will probably never be. This is not the hardest song from their discography, but I feel it very violently. 🤕
