That’s as real as you get, when you can’t find your tool , you just improvise. Well done

Hey buddy , you did a nice job, very clear with quick sharp instructions. Just like me, always waiting until the last millisecond to get our job list done just before light fades

Thanks for the vid. Funny enough Ive done far more serious jobs on my car but was confused about the purpose of that bolt in the center of the oil filter cap🤷🏾‍♂️. Good looks👍🏾

Is it the same for a 2013 vw cc vr6 lux

I did today. My 2007 Passat VR6 requires a shallow 36mm 6point socket to loosen the oil filter housing - cost only 11 dollars at a parts store - the label said it's for a 6.0 liter Ford diesel, but worked perfectly for the plastic housing. Btw, there are aftermarket aluminum housings for sale on the net, but I noticed those use a 32mm

My plastic oil filter cover broke while trying to loosen it. Had to cut it and hammer it out, what a pain. And Volkswagen wants $130 for a new one. For that price it should be made of titanium.

What is the correct socket size? I don't see a link as promised. Thanks.

@@CashedOutCars I might be. But I have the same car with what looks like the same engine in 3.2L. In Australia the 3.6 has black intake runners and is a tiny bit larger looking.

It’s a 3.6L, they look very similar to the 3.2. Intake color depends on the year
