After agent Faye Lau’s death, we were able to get our hands on her laptop at Camp White Oak.
On closer inspection, it is found to contain 6 encrypted files, called Insurance Policy.
So far, Kelso has managed to decrypt 3 of them, and the information exposed so far changes things… quite considerably.

Have you ever considered that WE are the clean up crew? We've killed Keener and his entire support structure, able to find the our manhunt targets in a suspiciously timely manner.
Now that we know the Hunters or at least one Hunter worked for homeland security, I feel like they are the cleanup crew. Would make their watch collecting habits make a little more sense. They would be bounty trophies, or proof of a targets elimination.

I kinda said the same thing. I’m like since wearing the mask. We are the hunters now killing the actual division agents we are either that or rouge’s.
It could be a possibility that both the agents and the hunters are the cleanup crew’s because both of them Are apart of homeland security so what if in case of the division failed the hunters would move in and take their place but since we hardly know anything about the hunters we’re technically killing our own
You know, there is a secret side mission where we search for Agent Edwards and the last section of that is the “unknown” Hunter instead of killing us, it shocks us, completely immobile and stationary, yet it slowly walks towards to us and stares at us for a brief moment before getting away, as if we’re rivals or something but have the same goals.(or maybe it’s plot armor)
And if that theory you brought up were to be the case, we’re probably are involved in this “conspiracy” somehow and being clever to keep our own cover blown by just always helping the people in DC and NYC in div 2 to the point where our agent is getting more overlooked and not getting questioned by Kelso and the others because they won’t believe that our agent is part of the deep state.
Always excited when the Division lore gets updated. The story of this game feels special to me. Thanks, as ever, for the great videos!
when Mcmanus mentioned sending a cleanup crew, i think of 3 possibilities
1. black tusk
2. hunters
3. the player
I would say hunters since they are always solo and maybe a group of 4 when it’s 4 players since BT work on squads and player (us play as a team)

It is 6am in the UK, and this is the perfect start to the day. I never doubted Faye for a moment :)
First I was disappointed in Faye but now I think she did the right thing. She knew about something serious but couldn't talk about it with others and to solve whatever the problem is she sacrificed herself. I always have and still think Kelso is a good guy(Girl). If she betrays us, I would be very surprised and disappointed. I think Mcmanus is someone important in DHS or SHD, maybe a former recruiter, as he talked about evaluations
Somethings have to be consider:
1. is Mc Manis the ring leader or is he another member of this conspiracy?
2. Did Arraon Keener know something more about it?
3. Is the Rogue Network now ally in our mission against them?
4. Does Mc Manis have allies in the NSA? In the classified operations into their base we found out they were monitoring Gordon Amherst. They took no action against him and many characters such as Keener, Major Castillo, and even some other characters like Rick Vassily have suggest someone had made sure Amhersts plans have been going into action.
One thing must be pointed out. The True Sons seem to know something about what is going on. They are not here in D.C. for us. They appear to be here to deal with another threat and one of the Daniels' comms references the True Sons interrogating people to find out about the Hunters.
If the True Sons know about the situation it makes sense:
1. We know they briefly work with the BTSU via Dusk.
2. Several members of the True Sons have access to high level intel (Colonel Morozova for example had classified records)
3. We also know they were spreading their operations beyond D.C.
Their are basically 4 big questions on my mind:
1. Is this going to be a proper American Civil War?
2. Is Arraon Keener somehow alive and working aganist this?
3. If the True Sons are also fighting this threat can they be trusted?
4. Why has Mc Mannis and his allies marked the Division entirely as Rogue? Is their something we are missing?
Yeah Daniels surprised me with the Hunters. But also consider that the Hunters could have attacked them in the past. I mean Natalya said “Schaffer can’t be everywhere at once”. What if sine off the books help came and tore some ass up somewhere other then the Division? Also do we know why the first Hunter in the game interrogated that Agent we found in the story? This was like early on.
@@Aristocratic13 no we don’t know why the hunter “demon “(The one we encounter firstly early on) interrogated the agent it’s still an unknown mystery till this day not even I could find any leads it could be possible that demon was send out to find something that the agent knows

Aaron Keener definitely knew what was coming probably long before the events of division 2. That would explain why he went rogue and created the Rogue Network

McManus was definitely talking about the hunters when he referred to the cleanup crew, we've seen and had confirmation that the hunter that used to pop up during the different targets for Schaeffer's manhunt was not only attacking everyone on sight, but was also working for Homeland. He himself later acknowledged the fact that they were more of an annoyance because they were going after these rogues and cutting ties that weren't supposed to be cut.
I really like how we're getting more and more info about the secrets that all of these factions and agencies have without being directly spoiled on everything
Do you think Aaron Kenner knew what was going or had a idea of it?? Because in the end of the warlords of New York campaign he said “You have no idea what’s coming” maybe that’s why he created the Rogue network in order to getaway from the shadow group?

@@NGN Maybe that explains why they’re hunters in New York they were possibly sent in and ordered to kill Kenner but back off because we did there work for them?
Well as usual, Keener was always one step ahead of us. He said that he has “friends in higher places” during an audio log discussion with Theo about Theo’s Father’s death and etc. If we are going to fight the “deep state” in the future, does that mean we’re technically fighting the US Government? And Keener’s enemy is also the US Government including the division?
Maybe Keener was right all along. He probably discovered that type of information a long time ago when he’s rogue in his free time other than recruiting other agents to his cause before Faye Lau discovered it too and us finally unraveling it ourselves.
@@xaptor8685 Keener was right all along, it’s just his method of resolving it was wrong. Till this day we don’t know the answer to the biggest question honestly. That is: why we’re the JTF called back from the Dark Zone and let the first wave get f***ed including Keener?
@@Tena619 I would have to agree with that but here’s the thing nobody knew where Kenner was not even the hunters new because they had difficult time looking for him nobody knew he was on liberty Island if they knew he was on liberty Island why didn’t the hunters get to liberty Island first before we did and kill Keener that way it doesn’t seem right to me that the hunters would get send into the dark zone and have a difficult time finding Kenner

That to me means that Schaeffer really did not know the big picture. He’s already in the deep state but clearly he didn’t know what rabbit hole he entered without his supervisor or superiors telling all about this giant conspiracy. Joined the Black Tusk because he’s a patriot and with a mindset like that being mislead until now.
I will be heartbroken if Kelso in anyway shape or form is bad.. another amazing job NGN.. love it
Love the lore and voice as always mate! Kelso was definitely sus at the beginning but we got to find out that's just how she is lol it's hard to think Faye was a double agent, how deep was she willing to go with the black tusk , it's hard to believe she was a double agent but I guess we'll find out more of the plot in the next lore installment, great video as always mate

Still wondering if we were the target for faye's OP. I somehow got an intercepted communications after i completed a hostage situation that i never got again of faye telling her team to stand down and back off.
And as i mentioned in the danials video, natalia genuinely seems to want to save and rebuild america, but in her own image but i dont really trust her and that snake calvin playing his own angle. The fact he is secretary of homeland security means he had some really big responsibilities and power.

Seeing as Cal is the secretary of Homeland security, I think the hunters are Homeland agents, hense why they fight and kill in an aggressive manner and have the gear they have 👀 just a theory though, I hope more info comes out

The division never ceases to amaze me the level of constant contingency that’s making all of us to follow it however it’s clear that this whole ordeal might be an all out governmental warfare going on and our actions are pulling the strings one by one.
Kinda surprised the latest audio log didn’t make it in this video where Schaffer and Fay talk about mcmanus 🤔
Quick highlights of future stuff in The Division Universe.
McManus is gonna take over the lead of The Division in Div3 (or at the end content of Div2), making The Division "Evil".
Bardon Scheaffer gets set free by McManus, but Bardon doesn't agree with McManus his plan's.
So he will eventually betray McManus.
Kelso will be killed by Natalia Sokolova or the Hunters while confronting McManus. (Before he takes over)
And in Div3 we probably start out as a Division Agent but we are marked "Rogue" by McManus.
So we have to use A.N.N.A. as our new I.S.A.C. system.
Bardon Scheaffer becomes the Head of the Rogue agency. (The new Kelso)
The Hunters become the new (LMB/BTSU) SHD/Division agents.
And most important:
WE WILL WEAR OUR PRECIOUS 1 STRAP BACKPACKS AGAIN!!!💪😂👌
Maybe McManus is using each faction like pawns on a chess board... the hunters, are they US special forces? Navy Seals? Marines? Clean up crew is maybe a top tier squads personally hand picked by himself? The only way to take down a country is from within.. so if there is no sitting president, wouldn't that put a lot of power in McManus' hands? Is there anyone working with him? Is there anyone above him in rank? I like the way you think, NGN.. Keep these videos coming!
Jesus McManus would have to be an extremely high ranking military official to pull strings to this extent. Maybe at least a 3 star general
Next person in line for the President would be the Secretary of Defense. I'd keep my eye on him, since he was a close friend of Ellis. (And he got Miniguns/Grenade Launchers installed on the Warhounds with Ellis.)
Hunters are apparently a Black Ops unit of Homeland Security.

The amount of strings McManus is pulling has to indicate that hes an extremely high ranking military official. You'd have to be at least a 2 or 3 star general to have command like this

After hearing Kelso collectable comms in DC, especially one about the kid, i newer doubted she is a rogue or something like that. Reckless, yes.
I am very confused about Faye and Kelso relationship. In Warlorlds of NY there was nothing that gave me impression they became friends, not to mention sisters. Kelso and Rhodes had some friendlier comms but i dont remember anything about Kelso and Faye.
Apparently they met over comms during the events of D1. If you listen to the Keener Manhunt comms "Encrypted ECHOs", Kelso states that she has been in contact with Lau and asked Tegan "Luna" Silver to hack into Keener's comms using Keener's Echoes, which has been sent over by Lau. This happened sometime between the Police Academy mission and the Russian Consulate mission, since Luna compromised that mission.
Kelso in every way makes me feel like she's the daughter of McManus...
Also, I feel like we're gonna go after McManus to one of the cores at some point

Even though massive said that Sokolova is never coming back into the game, I still strongly feel and believe that Natalia Sokolova WILL be back because she seems to still have a strong roll in the game. She's going to have a mission of her own!🤔
I got some backpacks apperiel that i have NO idea how i got. It even (for me) goes over the exotic backpacks. They are essentially the finishing touches for the new apparel items. Hotzone, meltdown, dispatch, etc backpacks.

In the Presidential line of Succession, after the Speaker of the House would be the Secretary of Defense. Be aware he was close friends with Ellis.

I think everyone goes rouge. Then your character takes over and instead of agent being heard on coms they start saying boss and you eventually recruit a new wave of agents you will have to bring to the idea by beating the crap out of them and ♻️
So since McManus is the secretary of homeland security that could mean hunters were in the military but now homeland security due to the decrease of government and power. Hunters are the clean up crew. I’m still trying to understand why the hunters still don’t like the division. Political reasons between the president?..
Maybe or both the division and the hunter are the cleaning crew it could be possible that both groups never knew of each other‘s existence and that’s why they could be treating the division as a hostile faction
i feel div 1 and div 2 should get a remaster in the sence of putting them both togerther as a long play through and being able to travel between them NOT FAST TRAVEL like actually go then when u catch everyone up on EVERY GRIDDY DETAIL boom div 3 and make it big examble where the div home base is use that state and then have another state same size if not bigger and continue the game clancy could have a never ending bio terror war fare franchise if they would make there games stable on release n a bit more fun with warfare such as LESS SPONGES and more AI to shoot. make the scenarios harder that way then a duck and cover shoot out for 30 minutes lool PLEASE LOL

According to the "The World of the Division" Book, Division High Command is led by a Board of Directors located in 3 separate Cores in Texas, Kansas, and South Dakota (Heartland of America). Each Core is lead by a Director, who has a seat on the Board. The only known Director that we know of is I.M Tucker (Director of the Texas Core).

The problem I have with this is for all the time the Massive team has had we get very very little for it.
I mean a reworked mission that use the same mechanics as every other mission? A few true sons activities that are identical to other's? Bounties that are identical? And half a dozen comms?
All this should have been done in a couple of month's at most not 18.
And as for countdown it should have just been left out it has too many problems that have bled over to the main game.
With working on it for 18 months 90% of these problems should have been fixed before release.

Secret Service assassinated VP Mendez under orders from Black Tusk. President Waller died of a heart attack. The next person in the Presidential line of Succession after Ellis would be the Secretary of Defense.
He was killed by secret service for being incompetent during the outbreak.
