I've seen about half of the movies in the series. KB 4 was always the one that kind stuck with me. A lot for some of the reasons you mentioned. 1. If they were going to use another actor and apply that much make up, they might have been better off just saying that this guy wasn't Tong Po but Tong Po's brother or a friend he left in charge. That would help explain why Sloan doesn't kill him and they let him get away. Sloan wants Tong Po, not this wannabe. 2. That random ass sex scene does feel like it comes from out of nowhere😂. At least the other one they show later on kinda makes sense. I mean at least it features 2 characters involved in the story. But that 1st one could have been left on the cutting room floor. 3. The different fighting styles and I liked the outdoor fighting ring.
Dude I agree with that even recently about David Sloan faking his death in fact I think that in timeline if I can be a little geek on this I think part 5 came after 1 and 2 and then three or four came afterwards because you have think about a three or four looks a little brand-new + 5 part 5 looks a little classic with the graphics and I love your ranking match perfect. By the way yes it's true nothing beats the first magical kickboxer just like the magical Bloodsport 1988. 💪🤝👍😎
I personally also prefer Kickboxer over Bloodsport since it actually has a story (i don't need some shakespearen drama, but at least give me a reason why they fight) My fave "non-og" movie has been the remake
In the fourth film, a character in the tournament wears a shirt with Mark Dacascos Kung Fu on it, the producers wanted Sasha Mitchell to come back for the fifth film, when he didn't, they replaced him with Mark Dacascos, but I think the shirt was just a coincidence (in real life, Mark Dacascos had won various tournaments in different martial arts, including that he'd been European kung fu champion)
7. Kickboxer 4: The Aggressor 6. The Redemption: Kickboxer 5 5. Kickboxer 2: The Road Back 4. Kickboxer: Retaliation 3. Kickboxer 2. Kickboxer lll: The Art of War 1. Kickboxer: Vengeance
Thanks for enduring this marathon for our entertainment lol just wondering if you streamed these or do you own all these Kickboxer movies and yes the first Kickboxer I enjoyed more than Bloodsport due to better training sequences and locations.
Kickboxer is my favourite i’ve got all of them in DVD. My favourite kickboxer is kickboxer 4 is my first favourite. My second one is kickboxer, 5 then kickboxer 2 then kickboxer 1 then kickboxer 6 then kickboxer 7 send kickboxer, 3 that one was good, but kickboxer 3was my last one that one was a write kickboxer three, but they should make the story different when I saw kickboxer 5 I thought Sasha Mitchell will return and when I so kickboxer five, he wasn’t in that movie but Mark Dacascos is a really good fighter. I think he didn’t awesome job. And they should’ve done Mark Dacascos, and Sasha Mitchell, starring kickboxer, five the story would’ve been better like that together that movie will be really good if they did it like that and Sasha Mitchell is my favourite in kickboxer 4 iLike here’ style
Jean-Claude Van Damme is my favourite character to sorry actor when I saw kickboxer 2 I thought Jean-Claude Van Damme will be in that one. But it was good to see. Ton po I like the end.
You showed some balls in this video having to suffer soooo many bad movies ,I have never seen any of these I dont really like US martial arts movies ..You should do some more tier videos soon as they are great. Some suggestions for them are sammo hung, yuen biao, cyhthia rothrock
The reboots could've been great. That is if Alain Moussi could've did any other expression than 'wooden plank'. Edit: The bad guy in Kickboxer 3 is Ian Jacklin, who has did roles in a lot of Don Wilson, Gary Daniels, Matthias Hues and Lorenzo Lamas films. He's known for the fight he has with Don Wilson in Ring of Fire II.
The only real fighters in the older ones was Jean claude and Muhammad qissi aka tong po the original they fought and trained together when they were kids they were child hood friends
In my opinion Kickboxer shouldn't have been a movie franchise unlike other movies like Karate Kid and I prefer Bloodsport over Kickboxer because it has that vibe you feel when playing a game like Mortal Kombat. Also, Bolo Yeong even though he's a mediocre actor he portrayed Chong Li in a very good fashion as the villain in Bloodsport and Tong Po although a more skilled fighter imo isn't as imposing as Chong Li and doesn't show the attitude Bolo Yeong portrayed as Chong Li!!

I hope you can talk about also the ranking of the kickboxer franchise villains that'll be sweet man. Can you do that For us fans I believe you can. 🤝👍
7. Kickboxer 4: The Aggressor
6. The Redemption: Kickboxer 5
5. Kickboxer 2: The Road Back
4. Kickboxer: Retaliation

2. Kickboxer lll: The Art of War
1. Kickboxer: Vengeance
They need to reboot Blood Sport series and American Ninja series
I’m a big JCVD fan. Most of his movies are terrible, but are always (ok sometimes) fun to watch. A full JCVD tier list would be fun.

Yep, what he said. WTF😂

You pretty much mentioned this already, but the final fight in Kickboxer 2 always pissed me off because it’s like 97% slo-mo and close-ups.

Kickboxer 4 is one of the most piss poor movies I have ever seen
Very nice, very evil shirt! Worth a subscribe.
