  • In order to improve everyday thinking, we need to understand the difficulties we're operating under and the fact that we can't make fully informed, deliberate decisions on most of the issues we face. We need to understand the shortcuts that people use (and must use).
Think101x: The Science of Everyday Thinking is a free online course on edX that's open to anyone. You don't need any previous education or experience, and you can participate as much or as little as you'd like.

Neuroscience and Psychology is quite inspiring, as it motivates Rationality with cognition (neuropsychology). Educating Gossip, thank you very much Dr Kahneman.

It's like Intuition and Sensing in MBTI Types theory.

No, it's not. That refers to your Perceiving function, on how you acquire information, what feels true to you. It is a totally different concept, has nothing to do with MBTI or personality on general. We all use both systems (1 and 2), all the time.

In my intuitive opinion, the effectiveness of calculation in the associated context of the subject being thought about is another version of quantum duality, (psychology(?) of quantifying quality), in which the fluid rearrangements from memory are tested by the fixed, conditioned, formulae of common knowledge. This process is either "near enough" quickly, or a nagging feeling of doubt that eventually triggers, or is triggered by, specific information, at some later time.
This is a Theory of Everythinking.
Bought, read, passed on the book.

Why is this filmed like a nature documentary?
