I recommend listening to their discography in order so you will understand the evolution and all :) The nostalgia, the songs, X-factor journey, music videos, drama, ugh...For me, the third album, Midnight Memories, is the most nostalgic (sometimes I wish i was 16 again haha:)), even though I dont listen to their music that much anymore.

I love Louis’s album Walls. It’s a no skip album for me. But Louis was still under the same label/management as 1D for his first album so the sound is more UK pop. I think his second album is going to have more of this rock sound which really suits him so I’m even more excited for LT2.
I was attracted to HS because of his Fleetwood Mac/Rolling Stones/David Bowie style and went backwards to see where all that came from and lo and behold, it was 1D! Some of us feel older and bigger than the universe and say “ugh boyband ugh”. But listening to where the broken hearts go and much later, home changed my perception And six years after they disbanded, they still win best boyband in the world. I want to point out something that I don’t know if you know about one direction, which is the amount of lines Niall and Louis were given in songs. Niall and Louis were seen as not good enough by their management and would give them the least amount of lines in songs. It was worse for Niall to the point where management would purposely turn down or cut off his mic during concerts. It got better later into their careers with later albums as Louis and Niall were given more parts, but could still be seen a few times, like in Clouds. Niall had two lines that he sang in this song. It really breaks my heart because Niall and Louis have such unique, beautiful voices and the fact that management tried to make them feel like they weren’t good enough makes me so angry. I hope that you give Niall and Louis the recognition they deserve, because not a lot of people do. Thank you and have a beautiful day!
