Just watching the video is overwhelming. I cant imagine how it is being inside the box. Sooooo many issues. The equipment is very good to tolerate those conditions. Thanks for the video.
All I would need to repair that freezer is a cutting torch, a sawzall, and a sledge hammer.... what a pos. But I understand too Bill, they’re going to install a whole new system next month, just get it running temporarily for now...
Never seen a WI freezer with another door into a deeper compartment. Is it possible that the section you were in was originally the front WI cooler then later converted to freezer?
I walked into a KFC in Detroit and my foot went though the floor I was like WTF? The manager did not even care. Then I went to check the a/c I tap the disconnect with the back of my hand it was SMOKING HOT! I go down to the breaker panel, they have two lines going to a double pole breaker and the other one going to a single. It was so amazing I could not even get mad, I was baffled.
To those who have experience in the construction of these cold boxes.. do they all eventually end up in this state of disrepair? Or is it possible there were corners cut or mistakes made during construction?
@@KnoxPop Seen ICS walk-ins over fifty years old still in really good shape. But then they don't build them like they used to. BTW they were one of the first companies to make manufactured walk-ins, and they're based not too far from where I live.
I have had to put a time delay in until can delay switch and termination switch could be installed, but the box in this video is not going to make the cut yes sir I agree with you there is no way the new equipment is not going to freeze up when or if changed out
hey.. why are all the walk ins in my area outside? I've noticed from yours and chris's videos that all the ones you guys work on are inside? Interesting I thought anyway... damn dude. that thing is shot!!
Thanks for the new post. Miss watching your vids. Always awesome
Well hello Sir! Nice to see hear from the great bearded one👍🏻👍🏻

Big picture quote, replace everything in the picture
So no sucky sucky and just blowy blowy. Putting it in terms like that makes it a lot easier to remember.

It's a built anti fatigue floor
Is this a foundation issue?

what a gem
looks like they need to clean up in that cooler a bit
That is the worse I seen as well - seen floor issues, and seam (etc) issues - but that one beats ALL for sure
That box has definitely seen better days.....big picture quote....big picture... im getting the f out before something else goes wrong.
Really want to move that shelf and open up that second door and find..... Jimmy Hoffa?
👍👍👍
What a Joke !
That will buff out 😁😁😁
That has some patina to it, and I suspect it's going to get a few more years of use, the way things are right now.
American pickers would have loved the box with all that patina . That's what people are looking for. 500 I know I can get 1,200.
That non contact voltage sensor is sometimes known as 'Chicken Stick', and I do use it on a regular basis...lol
Wow 😆 tear it down and start over. Nicely done Bill!
I was expecting the Law and Order: SVU theme to play after seeing that place.
Good one bill
3 page quote and at the end replace the*#@ whole thing.
Can't count how many times I have seen this exact scene.

if you seal it up on the outside so moisture can't get in from the moist outside. last really good
That's also customer abuse
Freezer floors should have heating runs built in. (Either heat trace $$ or a boiler) so you don't get ice ruining your foundation.

Time for a new box
Get me out of the contract these tracks people forged.
Is it a common thing use water to defrost the electrical compartment? I’ve always wanted to, but never have.
As long as you're de-energized you're fine. As stated just make sure it's dry afterwards to prevent any shorts. I've done it a couple times myself.
Thank you Special K!
And it will run for the next 10 years without the switch :)
Walk In Siever.
And hopefully get me back some of my family heirlooms
Help me recoup the property that was bought with the money that was stolen

Nice job , I have that exact watering nozzle , comes in handy on condensing boilers heat exchanger cleaning.
👍
❄🙏🇺🇸👍💪
Wow I would slowly back out of there and through my hands and say not today Satan.
That'll buff right out...👍🤣
