There are likely other options but the only closest thing I know of would be one of the Mavercade controllers. I think some of their Keebfighter models have two jump buttons - one for either thumb. Thanks for checking this out!
I picked up a B16 a while ago when I saw a good sale. It’s very cool! My biggest issue is on PC navigating through 4 different name/number conventions for the buttons (Haute compatibility layer, Haute internal naming in software, Steam layer, Game options layer) to get everything right. Still have to keep a notepad around to press the right key on startup and know what’s what! Other than that, it’s super solid, crazy quality, has “thock”, and plays great:) Still prefer stick, but I like playing Touhou style games with traditional keys. It just feels right:) These reviews are solid! Great job!
Always stellar having you chime in, Spiders! Yeah, I've had these two for some months already, this review just took ages to finish due to various delays we encountered. That said, the B16 is truly solid and it's great to hear you snagged one a bit ago as well. I think you will really enjoy seeing my video on the P12. They have seriously upped their package quality and the controller itself is from the future in terms of exterior design at least. Super stoked to share my thoughts. I can see that being cumbersome on PC but thankfully a notepad does the trick!
Oh wow these look awesome! I currently use a Thnikk Low Profile Fightboard V1/2 which looks very similar to the Mini so these are very enticing to me. I'd love to see low profile versions too, but I think I might grab the B16 since it's on sale because it looks SO NICE!
Hey, thanks so much for popping by and commenting! My review was delayed quite a bit, so anything I mentioned about the cost or sales may have been adjusted since then. But their controllers are almost always on sale from what I can tell. I've never heard of Thnikk before, so I'm intrigued to look them up to see what they all offer. Thanks again and let me know what you think of the B16 if and when you grab one!
@@Shmuptopia Got mine not too long ago. Haven't had time to use it as much as I'd like to, but first impressions are great. The default keys and switches feel so nice so I doubt I'd swap them. I mainly used it on Switch to play various SHMUPs. No difference in being better, but I do like how I was able to map one of the bottom thumb buttons as quick emergency bomb button. To sort of remedy the side plug issue, I bought a right angle adapter. But overall, its pretty amazing for such an affordable product. It was like half the price I paid (with sale) for the Thnikk pad I mentioned. Hope it goes well in the long run :)
I own the Haute Mini. I am trying to figure out how to set different profile on it. I am Tekken, SF6 and KOF using keyboard. So I am using this Haute mini like a keyboard. However, I would like to set 3 different keyboard profile on this Haute mini and is wondering if it is possible to do so.
Thanks for reaching out. It's been some time since I was in this one but as far as I recall, this is possible. Here's their section on profiles: gp2040-ce.info/web-configurator/menu-pages/pin-mapping/#profiles Additionally, their Discord server has a lot of resources. Trust this helps.
Hey, Dampy - thanks for checking this out, and great question. The Mini's PCB is hot swappable, so you can definitely put other switches in there if you find the stock LEOBOG switches too loud for your taste. As for keycaps, I have very little experience with keyboard style controllers and what caps to suggest. I'm not sure what is all available on the market but chances are members of the Haute42 Discord server have wondered about this or dealt with swapping the Mini's switches and key caps, so that might be a first place to start looking for additional information or guidance. Trust this helps!
I'm unable to confirm that at this time. Trusting someone else can answer. Alternatively, you could jump into their Discord server and ask someone there.
I can certainly consider this, though I won't make any guarantees. Also, do you mean customization for just these ones or a general method for any controllers running GP2040-CE?
@@Kingpin_TKNDepending on the configuration, it would be through the web configuration which would require plugging the controller into the computer and enter the site that allows you to adjust various things. That's more on the serious side of things and generally speaking, most people won't need to touch that if they're just wanting to play with the controller as it is out of the box. Is there a particular thing to want to customize? Are we talking button mapping? I know their Discord server has a section with resources and people are pretty helpful there, too. So that's another option since there are easily people more versed than myself.
@@Shmuptopia thank you! I was more interested about led customization but I seem to have found their official video where they show all that so all good. 🤜🤛
As far as I know, they won't be producing anymore of the Mini. It's such a cool controller, but the B16 is a worthy successor - if it can be called that.
I encountered numerous delays during the making of this review, so some of the prices and sales mentioned may no longer be accurate.
The B16 is exactly what I want, but it's too small to play comfortably on my lap.

Nice review, does it have a usb slot to make use of adapters like the Mayflash MagicBoots to use on the PS5?
Thanks for watching. It's been a while since I've had these out, so I'll check that for both and get back to you soon.
Both have USB-A ports on them, so I'm assuming this is for passthrough like their other models. I've never used them myself, though.
Can I swap them for faster quieter switches? Which keycaps would you recommend? They can be quite loud when im trying to pull off lvl 3 on zangief lol

Would this work with Xbox Series if used with a Mayflash Magic-X? If you know.

Can you share more about how you customize the controller? Through website? App? Can you also tell more about the modes.

Peep the DOIO mini hitpad series :> Very similar to the mini
I recently reviewed their Standard v1 and saw the Minis on their website. They look super cool!@@shibamaycry4585
