  • In this video, I will share with you how I do my break in on motors. This applies to most motors with a carbon block brush such as Hyper Dash, Power Dash, Sprint Dash and Mach Dash Pro.
Break in is a process where you season the motor so that it runs at peak output during your race.
There are many methods or techniques on how to do break in, and my method may not be the absolute best method, but its my method nonetheless.
Breaking in usually gives you about 10% more RPM from out of box motors. The choice of oil will also affect the success rate of break in.
Not every motor you break in gives the same result. Every motor have its own set of characteristics that only luck can help you. No one particular batch will give you better results, just that you may be lucky to hit a good motor.
RPM is nothing, so test the motors in a car and run it on the track. It's the best way to know if your motor is good or not.

hey man, can you make a tutorial on how to make a diy break-in system please ? also, is it a cheaper and better alternative ?

Cheapest possible is to use batteries in a used chassis. Same ideology except batteries voltage drops over time. Just make sure you have some kind of cooling fan blowing because the motors gets insanely hot if run for too long.

I am not sure on metal brush (light dash is one of them). Maybe next time I find a good break in method I will share.

halo bro, how about break in torqtune? do have same way? thank you brother.

Suggest to do forward and reverse 3 mins each cycle at about 2 volts. All metal brush motors needs to break in both sides. Approximately 1-2hr in total break in time. You will know when to stop when the pitch suddenly becomes faster (after cycle 5+ onwards).

I dont think there's a name for it. An alternative would be G-Force Mini Break In System.
