hahahah yes!!!! This is amazing. Love the costumes so much as well. The ape escape version is my favourite, brings back fond memories of playing Snake v Monkey in Metal Gear Solid 3, more than I played the actual Ape Escape game :'D Happy Halloween Brandon have a good one!
Good job. I'm still a beginner to pick cad, so Im not familiar enough with it to make something like this. I only got pico cad because of you in the first place. You are awesome.
Your videos really inspire me to try pixel art myself. I've always loved the style of art when I see it in video games, and I enjoy seeing the process through which you go in your videos as you demonstrate different ideas and tools and such. Not only do I learn a lot, it's also entertaining. I dunno, I find things like this so cool and fascinating. Keep up the great work!
Looks like a very well-optimized mesh - great work!! Did you get anywhere close to the filesize limits this time? It's always a treat (pun not intended) to see these pico cad videos. They feel more kicked back too, which is a wonderful change of pace! 😁 I think my fav costume has to be Captain Nano, just the idea of it is so great 😆 Also reminds me, I need to check out Squid Games!! That costume came out great too!
Thanks! Big fan of Captain Nano also; colouring came out pretty clean and I love how the shield looks homemade lol. And yeah the file size was getting close to max after making the halloween pail for Nano; and then the leftover room for costume props took up the rest of the space! Still on a quest to get more efficient with this 😅
I can't articulate why, i think its the shapes and eyes + the walking pose but something in this style really reminds me of the game Chulip. I love this
Seeing the Ape Escape costume made me really happy since I grew up with the second one on PS2! Always brings back happy memories when I see those funky lil monkeys.
Nice job on all the costumes, those turned out super fun! Really impressed with how good the candy looks on the model from just that random assortment of colored pixels
You did low poly pixel art designs of FFVII characters but with pico CAD you sorta did the opposite lol. Its really cool seeing this combination of styles and i’m interested to see what you do in the future! :D
I love Brandon’s art, I love low Poly N64-esque models, and I love Halloween (mostly due to it being my birthday). This is another great video by Brandon. I’d love to see you use a program like MagicaVoxel some time to see what you can do there. Maybe even combine it with Blender and Photoshop to get some really cool results.
Radical! Have you found a way to export as anything besides a gif that includes the texture map at the bottom? The only other thing I can figure is a screen recording but maybe I’m missing something. Love your stuff, I watch every Sunday
When you're on the main screen (the one with the 4 different views) hover your mouse over the top-right panel (the full 3D model view) and press the space key - it'll show the model and then if you click on "export GIF" from _this_ window it'll just be the full model without the texture map at the bottom :D
Have you tried magicavoxel? I feel like it's a much simpler way of making "pixel" models, as you're literally just moving from squares to cubes, and don't have to worry about mapping or anything.
But the advantage of picoCAD is the use of textures and the ability to use forms other than cubes like pyramids and cylinders. I think they are two distinct forms of 3D pixel modeling.
I find picocad pretty darn hard to work in, and just a little frustrating when it results in rendering glitches. But it's a neat little piece of software for something of this scale. Oh, and since you're interpreting your mascot now, I can't help but wonder how it might look in different 2D art styles - Nano in some cyberpunk-y setting, in post-apoc, just Nano with a bunch more details thrown onto him to flesh 'im out. Potential video idea, I suppose.
I enjoy your videos very much. 👍 I would like to see how large 2D sprites are colored before being “shrunken” to be used on the screen. For example, (2D) “Wreck-It Ralph”… he looks like he has only a few colors, but if one zooms in he has many shades or tints of those colors on him. It’s confusing to me how those colors are chosen and how they are placed.
HOLY. I just found that this program exists and I already wanna try it, I am a spriter so this can be extremely god damn awesome ( I need papyrus model,,, )
Bois he has achieved *THE THIRD DIMENSION*
hahahah yes!!!! This is amazing. Love the costumes so much as well. The ape escape version is my favourite, brings back fond memories of playing Snake v Monkey in Metal Gear Solid 3, more than I played the actual Ape Escape game :'D Happy Halloween Brandon have a good one!
Hi! Saultoons
Thanks dude! Haha oh wow I had no idea those little guys were in MGS3 also, that's hilarious 😆

Same here 😔 I really want to make stuff like this on there, but I need to practice more. This vid was good motivation though! 😊
Keep it up dude!
"HI I'm Brandon and I make pictures out of moderately-sized cubes"
Nano looks cute even in 3D
9:20 Nyano
So cute!! I love those kind of 3D models because they make me remember the times I played Nintendo DS!
They could perfectly fit a Nintendo DS game hdvhshshsh
Really coming along with your 3d modelling skills! It's really cool watching your journey with these videos.

This looks really good. Great job as always Brandon!
Also, Nano would be the happiest Squid Game player ever LMAO
Those were all awesome, my favourite was that Ape Escape costume!
Amazing work!
Fantastic as always! Happy Halloween Brandon!

8:33 i liked this game a lot when i was a kid but didn't knew the name, thank you james
This turned out so good! how cute!!!
The design is really cool! Also I appreciate how much effort it must have been to make all those costumes!
Good job its beacuse of you i know of picocad happy Halloween
your content is always so solid, and such a pleasure to watch! looking forward to more awesome projects (PS those costumes are so cute)

Never was this early, last time I was this early to a video at all were RUclips Premieres
Man this is so cool, I want to learn PicoCAD since I love this style of 3D Models

i absolutely adore this, you don't understand. nano looks *so* cute ! ! !
Nano looks so cute in all of those .
Nice job on all the costumes, those turned out super fun! Really impressed with how good the candy looks on the model from just that random assortment of colored pixels
this is so cute! i love the costumes and his little jack-o-lantern pail. great choice of music also. happy halloween!
Your patience for this software is impressive.
Imagine a 3D game with these pixelated characters!
Wow, interesting software. Never seen it before. And that alpha channel trick was sick!
This was really cool seeing Nano in a new light. All the costumes were A+! Supernano was my personal favorite.
I love this artstyle, I wish you could import these into a game engine and make a game with these low-poly models.
Wow! This looks really good, keep up the good work
I thought this day won't come
You did low poly pixel art designs of FFVII characters but with pico CAD you sorta did the opposite lol. Its really cool seeing this combination of styles and i’m interested to see what you do in the future! :D
What an interesting program, great model and costume ideas as well.
Hey man! Love your quality content. Very inspiring to see you break down your work and go over the creative process. Will stick around for more

2D or 3D Nano is always cute!
Heh, totally thought that second costume was Devo there for a sec. Showing my age. These turned out so awesome!
I gasped at the ape escape
how cute!
I think it would be cool if Brandon made a fan made deltarune character that would be awesome
The Nano Inside Me. /ref
pico cad looks really fun to use!
i think imma Download it
omg this is so cute love this your so good aat this
This is so awsome and cute
I loved it!

You’re a legend!
3d sprites should be a whole thing now, imagine all the games.
Pretty sure its already a thing

I think you should make a planet out of these guys.
November second and I already got a Christmas themed ad
This is awesome! :D
that's so cute
imagining a charming low poly 3d game like super mario 64 but with nano :")
Great video!! 👍👍
Dope
pixel art yum
Pretty cool, you missed an opportunity to dress Nano up as Data.
Everybody gangsta till nano decides to ascend to the *4th* dimension
I find it interesting that even in picoCAD you'll find Z-fighting to be an issue as well.
Great vid!! Reminds me of Data (Megaman Legends)
Without his Monkey ears Nano would make a very convincing cat! 😸
Nano really went: *Get Real.*
Squid game reference
Imagine 3D printing it
Great Job 👌😁
Good job

Im exactly 3 years late!
It’s 10.31.24 9:57
And the video was posted 10.31.2021 ??:??
love u bruw
Would be good for an N64 game
Will you be doing any pixel art animation tutorials?
Could I use picocad to make character models for game? Like importing it into unreal or godot?
I enjoy your videos very much. 👍

Is there a way to get pointers from you on how to approach my own original character in a relatively low resolution?
I have a question... Can you export your project as a 3d model? Or just as a gif?
Good question, up
You can export as .gif, or .obj & .mat using the Toolbox included on the itch.io page
@@Patrick-ou4de thanks dude
it's funny how you haven't yet tackled the voxel programs (unless you did and I haven't found it yet), because it's literally 3D pixel art
Inspirativo!
HI, you know if we can to export 3d models from picoCAD to Blender? (also, sorry for my potato English)
HOLY. I just found that this program exists and I already wanna try it, I am a spriter so this can be extremely god damn awesome ( I need papyrus model,,, )
awh no they put nano in quid game
love your vids
So, Nano Did the "From 2D to 3D" jump Right :D
I know it's too much to ask but it'd be really cool if picoCAD could be used for animation
Good soup!!!
Ok, thats it, imma make Super Nano 64. (Wish me luck.]
I noticed your cat
I didn't even know that you could make 3D things in PICOCAD.
Edit: Wait... Thats the whole point of PICOCAD...
Nano good
Hi, can you share with these old of picoCAD? Cause its not free anymore
Of course the Squid Game one is number 456 😂
Do you program as well?
polygon monke go BRRRRR
seriously those costumes look really cool
I'm going to make a game using Nano
"when I learn how to code"
Monkey ball costume
why is PicoCAD Paid Now
