I don't understand about the handlebar switches. Did you rewire your plugs to NWT plugs that fit the control module?
Are you using OEM switch blocks, or using NWT switch blocks?
So besides losing a few relays, what is the actual need for this module?
I have always just used the OEM looms with my mods, never been an issue.
@@Nzchimeran the handlebar controls are from NWT. I have used stock looms on bikes too but the X-21 and other similar controllers like the M-unit I think make the task of wiring a motorcycle a little less daunting to the hobbyist bike builder.

Will it operate on a Kickstarter only bike? In the pdf docs they supply it states "battery mandatory".
The x-21 will not work on a kick start only bike however, NWT does offer switch controllers that will do well for controlling other electronics after the bike is started
