Yes why wouldn’t it ? It’ll be the same process of gelling your hair down. If you keep your hair in curly state then your hair would look wavy when put into a bun and if you blow it out/flat iron … it would resemble more of her hair. Just always tie your hair up at night to prevent frizz… especially as a natural. Hope that helps
