Atomic Heart is an FPS video game with action role-playing elements. The combat in the game consists of shooting and slashing with improvised weapons. A wide variety of enemies are featured, which may be mechanical, biomechanical, biological, and some of which are airborne. There is a crafting system where the weapons can be pieced together from metal parts that can be detached from robots or taken from household appliances. Weapons can also be upgraded via a mechanic called "casettes.” Ammo in the game is scarce, and there is a stealth option. Quick-time events are also featured in the game. The player wears a special glove, the Polymer Glove, which grants him powers such as telekinesis, freezing, and electricity to defeat his foes. Its powers can be combined with both melee and ranged weapons.
Ammunition can also be upgraded with various elemental effects using canisters. These canisters can be looted and crafted, and then equipped by the player on both melee- and ranged weapons. If the canister depletes, it is discarded from the player's inventory.
Atomic Heart takes place in Facility 3826, the Soviet Union's foremost scientific research hub in an alternate 1955. In the 1930s, scientist Dmitry Sechenov develops a liquidized programmable module called the Polymer, sparking massive technological breakthroughs in the fields of energy and robotics in the USSR and freeing much of the populace from manual labor. These breakthroughs include a networked artificial intelligence called the "Kollektiv" linking these robots together.
Sechenov also develops a device called "Thought" to integrate Polymer into the human body, allowing remote neural interfacing with the robots as part of an improved Kollektiv 2.0. However, its official launch on 13 June 1955 goes awry, plunging Facility 3826 into chaos.

Lmao, she's one of the most sexualized character in video game history. The Devs knew what they were doing too since her ass was said to have more detail in it than the rest of the game. Her ass has 1195 triangles, and someone compared her to link from oots. Link is only 400 triangles in that game. She also has a self-destruct mode which removes her skirt, but she has a white leotard under it. In the anime they sneak a few shots of 2b while she's fighting. I mean go to a yt video of 2B fighting in the anime and you'll see the comments have the exact timestamps.

I keep replaying this scene. Wow. Just wow really. This game is truly something different and out there. Love it to bits.
As a game developer I've learned one thing: Creating iconic characters is one of the paths to success. An example of this are characters like Darth Vader, Pyramid Head, Alucard, Jason Vorhees among many others, and now The Twins. Without these characters, some movies and games would not have achieved the success they have today. Can you imagine Star Wars if Darth Vader? Impossible.

But it's still a good game.

It’s simultaneously engrossing and terrifying to behold. Like watching two angels performing some sacred rite by which they produce the keys to the gates of Heaven. Perfect. Precise. Deliberate. Inhuman.

If Western Devs don't want to give gamers the games they want, it's only suiting that non- Western devs fill the vacuum. We are tired of the activism in games today...we don't buy games to ponder on misogyny or race, or sexism in gaming...we buy games to be entertained, and males account for the vast majority of gamers. I have been hoping that more studios like CDPR would pop up, but it now seems that CDPR (still western company, but in a country with more conservative, sane values) is going woke, so who will the next dev be who stops with the preaching and creates entertaining games?
I’m really impressed by the way the devs manage to evoke the Soviet vibe. That 20th century communist aesthetic is hard to pin down but so distinct.
Probably helps that the developers are Russian.

The delay in action of two robot, i don’t know if it is good or bad. Since twin robot like these should have synchronized in action perfectly but in this case the delay make them look quite lively

Хотя может они сознательно не хотели отходить от образа солдат времен ВОВ, но тогда могли бы хотя бы анимировать солдат нормально ибо они так пялятся в пол даже в трейлере.
