I have no idea why Ubisoft not milking this franchise. Hell they will put Sam in every other games of their but not in his own title.
Cause they will have to make an online and knowing them they will fuck it up.
because they now that they are not that creative anymore as they used to be, so they can't recreate their own games because of how good they were at making games back in the day, now all they care about is money and saving their company from bankruptcy, classic ubisoft
you're overcomplicating one simple truth-they just don't really understand how could they possibly monetize a linear story-driven single player stealth-action. And since you can't really fill a game with micro-transactions, that game doesn't worth the time and bother.
I bet there are still some good developers in their company considering AC Mirage and Prince of Persia weren't even half bad.
At this point I don't want Ubisoft making anymore games they should just call it all hope is lost
Because Ubisoft loves to murder their best games.
Splinter cell is One of the best single player stealth spy game franchise ever created next to Metal gear! This game never should’ve stopped, it easily should’ve had more games than call of duty & battlefield combined!

Even after all these years, splinter cell remains as my n1 game. I remeber as a kid spending hours to just pass one mission, shi was tought, fun and story was amazing

I served 18 months in iranian ground forces(mandatory service), I gotta say nothing in the game regarding the designs of characters and map designs resembles the real thing, It should be actually way more oldschool 80s Army vibes ,nothing fancy and a lot of G3s and few AKs.
The Persian dialogs are badly framed and pronounced poorly.
But really good game ,I played it for days when it came out.❤

The beginning is what annoys me about the newer age SC games. In the classic books and OG trilogy it isn't easy to get the drop on a prime Sam in the field. Even if it is just to deliver a cheap throat shot.
This is the same guy who in his late forties and definitely into his fifties was taking out elite teams of prime military age males single-handedly. Hell, in one of the books he uses the cover of darkness and a LIGHT drizzle to sneak past NSA strike teams that were given the green light on him, when he was framed for an attempt on a ThiEch representative's life.
