  • Hello and Welcome to Say It with Simplicity!
Today I'm creating a layered ornament in Cricut Design Space. Follow along as I find Cricut Access images for this project. Then slice, weld, contour, and cut out a 5 layered Christmas ornament with your Cricut. I hope you'll join me.

Hi a lovely pattern, how did you show your mat in design space as larger squares please. I would find this much easier

If you press shift and g on your keyboard you can toggle through grid settings. Sometimes I have trouble with this and it might be my computer resources. But if that doesn't work, go to your profile>settings>canvas>canvas grid. You can choose from full grid, partial grid, or no grid. Hope that helps.

This shows how to download and cut the project. What software do you use to actual invent the original project from scratch? In this case, design is a verb, where you draw it out the first time, and not a noun, that you call your finished product for others to download.

Hi Callie. I'm wondering if you watched the entire video? While I used Cricut Access Images, I did "create" a cut file, pretty much from scratch. You can watch that at approximately 6:00 minutes into the video and beyond.
This was not a file design that was previously on Cricut Design Space, nor was it something I uploaded to Design Space. My purpose in doing the video was to show how you can create more complex designs in Design Space for those who maybe don't want to dive into design programs.
I do use Adobe Illustrator and Silhouette Studio Business Edition and did make my own similar cut file (completely from scratch) that can be found at sayitwithsimplicity.com/3d-christmas-ornament-svg/
      Thanks for watching.

Where can I buy the file? It’s not in your Etsy shop.
