Watching in 2024 and I am absolutely loving all 3 of your houses!! Well the last one is more like 4 houses by itself lol. It's all so so beautiful!!!
Thank you so much! I really need to get back to making videos
I’m obsessed with Gingerbread
Finally a RUclips DIY'er that makes messes like I do when I try these for the first time!!!! I have to say I love the gingerbread house, but I love the sarcasm even more!
Very cute. You made it to the end through all your tribulations!!! Good job!!
Loved everything! Do more! Lol
Thank you! I was so overwhelmed this year I had to basically skip halloween and Christmas content...BUT I have Christmas supplies saved up so I'm going to aim for a "Christmas in July" thing 😊
This is the first time I’ve caught your channel. Great ideas!!!
First time viewer, I have been on a Gingerbread house viewing video kick . Your version is my favorite! It is just how I want mine to look.
You did a great job on the gingerbread house.
Love it , you did a great job . Thank you for sharing
Love how your gingerbread house turned out. Awesome
I like both snow versions. The drooping from the glue makes it more realistic to me. Love your editing too! Bloopers are always a bonus to any video!
Thank you for sharing. 😊
Everything turned out absolutely beautiful! Great job!!!! If my kitchen was larger I’d have a Gingerbread overload going on it there! Lol My gingerbread theme has to be on a smaller scale! Love love the village!
Thank you!
They had a smaller wood gingerbread house at Dollar Tree, one of the ones with a tealight in it...you could make a mini version! You could probably even cut your own mini shapes from cardboard, but you'd have to seal it with something like modpodge and then add the spackle when it dries, so it doesn't make the cardboard soggy.
Love it 🤗❤️
Love it 🥰
I love it!!! However, I bought a pastry bag set and cut a lot of the tip off of that tube of caulk and squeezed into bag. Worked great!! And you can change tips for bag. Also, I traced a back for the house out of the foam board and just painted it, no deco. And, I was really leery about using real candy but found the coolest stuff this yr. used rudolph gummies and put them on the roof, they also had 4D gummy blocks, looks like lego's and made a sleigh. 1st time doing this and I love it!! (Mine is for Christmas, ran out of time for the Gingerbread I wanted, I'll finish in Jan!! :)
I just watched your video for the first time. I loved how your projects turned out. I have yet to make my gingerbread house but yours will be my inspiration. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
The backside could be a manger scene...
Next time squeeze your calk into a piping bag for icing. So cute! Love your candy choices!
I meant freezer bag but my mind isn't cooperating with my fingers today LoL
I did one but I made it in to a Candy Box.I took two Houses a wooden box and Big popsicle sticks or tongue depressors, all at the Dollar Store.
You're adorable 🤩
Yay! I’m so glad you’re back, but also completely understand your need to take some time off. But, yay, you’re back and I love the gingerbread house.

Hi! Love this house and all the little fake candies you found! I actually got the same bag of Candy cane and round mint candies from amazon and love how you added the mod podge glitter to them because I didnt end up even using mine bc I didnt like how "flat" they looked and when I seen you add the glitter mod podge I thought OMG, YES! That's what was totally missing! I'll def have to use that next year!
I make a lot of fake food, esp baked goods and something I learned a couple years back....while the Dollar Tree is GREAT for most things esp for crafting, their caulking is NOT! Its too thin and 'runny' and anything you do to "help" it doesnt end up helping in the end AND it will crack! You are much better off just going to Home Depot or Lowes and getting a little (in my case big, lol) bucket of Lightweight Spackle and JUST using that! Dont anything to it except paint if you want a different colored frosting and you can add a little flour IF you need to if the paint makes it a little thin but Ive found its just fine if you use a decent paint that isnt watery (Folkart is my fav because its still cheap, but its pigmented and you dont need a LOT so it wont water down your spackle). The Lightweight Spackle from the hardware store is MUCH better and LONG lasting and doesnt crack at all. Ive used it for "cupcakes" etc..and added glitter to the top or different decorations like metal hearts from broken jewelry as a topper to the cupcake and never needed glue or anything else. Hope this helps for next time! Oh and you prob wont have a problem with your base bowing either, as Ive found the DT spackle is MUCH wetter than hardware store/name brand spackle.
Cute
First time viewer. Loved all of these gingerbread projects! I think you look beautiful in your intro! Subscribed today! Can’t wait to check out your video library!
Great inspiration. I haven't made my either, but yours gives me so many great ideas. Thank you, and Happy New Year to you!
Absolutely
What are the ratios of spackling and caulk?
It was so long ago that I honestly don't recall, but it was too runny from adding glue, so don't do that, lol. I say you can probably just eyeball it and mix until you get a consistency like real frosting. I will tell you that I put them out for Christmas again this year, and they still look great, with no yellowing. They did have some crumbles come off here and there, but nothing noticeable.
Just saw this channel. Christmas is so lovely. 😊
Its so beautiful. ❤ and what music is this plz ?
Thank you! I just use free music from the RUclips library.
Wow! I am so happy that I came across your tutorial! I'm Sue, from Central California. I just love how you are so relaxed and easy going! You totally nailed this G House! I've been watching tutes to get ideas for mine and so far I'm going to go with yours. It's so adorable and it seems easy to do. I NEED those little candies!!! I think your caulking looks great...like melting snow! Like Olivia says "give yourself some Grace". I subscribed to your channel and I am looking forward to watching you do more DIYs!! I hope you are feeling better! Have a very Merry Christmas!! 🍭🍬🎄☃️❄
Loveee it! Making it this xmas. How do you get the glitter to stick to the house? Did you use a spray glue?
It will stick to wet puff paint...and also pretty well to the wet caulk/spackle...but if you're worried about shedding off the spackle you could probably modpodge or spray a sealant on it when it dries.
LOve your diy and so awesome. Very cute! Where did you find the gingerbread man/woman? I was trying to find it on amazon and not sure which, let me know. Thank you!
Thank you! I will add the link to the description 😉
Very very cute. Where did you get all mini candies?
Thank you! The candy cabochons are from Amazon, i just looked for one that had a good variety and was not super expensive. And the lollipops and gum drops are from the "my little Christmas" collection at Hobby Lobby.
👋 hi!!! Just subscribed to your channel.
