So I recently got ripped off on marketplace I bought a cpu motherboard combo and used the cpu in a quick flip. I sold the pc and got a call saying that the kid couldn’t play Fortnite he was hardware banned. I replaced the cpu with a new one and it was the same deal. I ended giving him a partial refund after offering a full refund. I always test my builds but I never thought about having to test individual games. I just use benchmarks. Has this ever happened to you and what would you have done differently.
@@daveygravey8888 thats a very good question! i have never had this happen to me, and im not sure theres much of a way to avoid it i will have to take a look into it
@ that would be awesome because I feel like those parts are diseased now I don’t want to hook up anymore hardware to it and I think the new cpu is sketchy to now because of how the whole thing went down I built a pc 2 days ago and specifically played Fortnite on it just to make sure there wasn’t anything I was doing and it worked fine but that build was on all new hardware.
@@BudgetReboots so you are not wrong but in Fortnite they flag the cpu the motherboard and the ssd. The motherboard that I used was brand new the only used parts in that entire build was the cpu and ram.

Pretty sure the hardware ban is bc of the motherboard or ssd i can't remember which one but uts one of the 2
