The booster actually isn't working properly in this video. The main throttle valve for the booster was stuck closed, so it was only receiving steam from the preliminary throttle valve, which is used to idle the booster in preparation for its use. So while the booster was engaged, it wasn't receiving full steam pressure or providing any additional tractive effort.

Its not just that the audio is great but, it is a rare treat to actually hear booster engine working sound.
