Dialga had some disgusting combos, but it seems that most likely nerves got to him. Understandable. Seems like Leo might have been talking with him about that after the set. Interested to see what Dialga can bring on a cleaner set.
Looked like to me he was only able to do smash 4 bayo stuff and mk leo completely shut that nonsense down after the first time
@@mrtree1368 what do you mean smash 4 bayo stuff? Ultimate bayo can’t do that unless you mean the variety in combos but to tell you the truth from a bayo main
There really isn’t a lot of safe combos that aren’t the same so if you see the same combo over and over that’s simply cause it’s all bayo really has in terms of safe combos
Basically a lot of combos you may see in montages are super unsafe and super untrue

@@IC2I yeah many of them was we do the same combos over and over again cause they removed many combo options it is true that smash 4 allows for more creative combos you can try that in ultimate but in ultimate they would be super unsafe and super untrue

I kind of feel like Dialga beat himself a bit here. He overextended multiple times offstage, I think maybe he was thinking that some early-% edgeguards were his best chance at winning but he just kept attempting miracle plays that weren't on.
Yeah it'll be a big lesson learned for Dialga. This is my 1st time seeing him play and i can already tell how good he is. He definitely has the potential to get the W over these top players

@@jasonlobo2350 I mean, sure, I guess? Dialga was playing #1 in the world, so I'm don't think it means anything to say "Leo outplayed him", because Leo kinda outplays everybody. The idea people are trying to get across is that Dialga is a really good player who didn't really play to his potential in this match.

This was the hypest pair of two stocks I’ve ever seen. Props to both players, Dialga is really good, it definitely seemed like nerves made him a bit too frenzied is all

You can tell he's really good with Bayonetta, but with Leo and specifically, Byleth, you gotta be patient and wait for openings.

Leo kind of just melted Dialga there, though what sucks is nerves must’ve gotten to Dialga and he made some critical mistakes because of it
Kudos to both TMD and Leo for a weird but great set
Anyway, despite Smash 4 Bayo being a thing, I kinda feel sorry watching Bayo in Ult. For a character like her, she needs better frame data but that makes people understandably dislike her, and her have stupid combos due to weak SDI/DI. Balancing Bayo would be much easier in a game like Melee, where their is much stronger DI and SDI, which allows skilled players to avoid a ton of stuff the top tiers in that game have
She was fine in the invitational but people bitched she killed a huge inexperienced ridley on a low ceiling green greens by a veteran smash competitor

1:59 That was definitely not a footstool kill. You can actually see Byleth's second jump after the first up-b off stage. I think the magnified screen confused the commentator cuz the first up-b looks like a footstool jump.
That Bayo really overcommitted to the off stage and I haven't the foggiest what they were trying to accomplish.
