WOTR is a better put together game. I wasn't really able to find any skips at all after Kenabres, and even those have been patched since my last WOTR run. So the Speedrun of that game basically relies on running through normally, while there are a lot of skips and tricks in the kingmaker run, which I find a lot more fun. (Also yeah, it's a lot shorter lol)
I was really enjoying the run and thought you were explaining things fairly well until about 85 minutes in when you kinda lose the plot and get distracted by a comment and rant about things completely unrelated to the run for like 40 minutes plus. Clearly you are passionate about a lot of scifi and fantasy media but ranting about these things for such a huge part of the run really took me out of it. I am far more interested on your decision making in the game and why you routed the game the way you did. Really great run nonetheless but hope future runs lack the unrelated ranting.
Fair enough. While I can't promise that I won't go rambling about various topics midrun (these tend to be VERY stream of consciousness, and mine tends to bounce around pretty randomly at times) I do try to explain a lot of what is going on in the run. And once I get the run more optimized I plan to do a more focused run that thoroughly explains these things in more detail.

What makes Kingmaker so much more appealing than WotR to speedrun? Is it just shorter or something?
