Just watching the VOD right now. Even if the game allowed you to kill Willas, chapter 4 COULD still happens more or less normaly, because nyrissa is still looking for the oculus of abadon. She would just make tristian make you go meet the numerias for any other reason. Or the barbarians could be news all on their own, and you would still have chapter 4. Their search for the oculus is independent of the what willas did, nyrissa knows about vordakai. She knows he exist, and so does tristian, but she doesn’t know WHERE he is. Tristian may know, but that is not 100% clear. He could be tens of thousands years old, being a deva and all that.

Well, Shield Maze on unfair is a pain... Water elemental is the only fight in the game i'm cheesing on unfair. I'm using animal companion to aggro him, kite him to the room with 3 dretches. And then kite him more around the room, while rest of the party is standing in the middle and shoot him to death. This room is great because of that circular structure in the middle shows you where it's safe to kite him. Btw, prolonging duration of fortune hex with cackle or chant still works normally. I think it's the most op buff in the game and to have it on everyone (together with protective luck) for as long as your patience allows is nuts... Looking forward to rest of the playthrough.

What makes Kingmaker so much more appealing than WotR to speedrun? Is it just shorter or something?

Having over 700 hours in the game, I finally decided to attempt a speedrun myself. Your channel is singlehandedly keeping my motivation to play this game alive. Having followed your route for the story difficulty speedrun, I truly respect and appreciate your dedication. I got the knowledge but lack the skill to pull off a proper speedrun, but it's fun to play alongside your vods nonetheless. Keep it up, man. (Also your Pokémon runs are fun as hell)

I was really enjoying the run and thought you were explaining things fairly well until about 85 minutes in when you kinda lose the plot and get distracted by a comment and rant about things completely unrelated to the run for like 40 minutes plus. Clearly you are passionate about a lot of scifi and fantasy media but ranting about these things for such a huge part of the run really took me out of it. I am far more interested on your decision making in the game and why you routed the game the way you did. Really great run nonetheless but hope future runs lack the unrelated ranting.

It is possible to do the Soul Eater fight with melle. But i dont think you want to try it. It require PERFECT kiting and turnbase shenanigans.

Just watching the VOD, the animals in the temple of the elk have always been blurred, at least in normal and above (though, even though I have never played in story dificulty, I think even in that they are blurred).

what kind of bullshit is that pit skip? how does someone even think of that? Also, how/why don't you have to make a save to not fall in. The pit spells can also affect you

How did you manage to teleport through the door in the Pitax Royal Palace? I've tried dozens of times and can't find a way to target the edge of that door in a way that gets me through it.
