Also dryleaf arts jump attack is boosted as well as well as the power attack. Combinw that with the raven armor and talisman along with the shattered stone talismans for a good 50%~ more damage with jump attacks
They totally different. Dry leaf is more for breaking stances and Danes are for doing dps cuz the fast attacks and the ash of war most people use on that.
One thing I have been having fun with is the deflecting tear + either of the dryleaf weapons. For some reason the guard counter on dryleaf does crazy high damage and is decently fast. I have reached upwards of 3.5k in the dlc on a quality build.
Dark souls 2 had some lore and gameplay issues but it had some of the best ideas in the entire series. It's taken a long time for the other games to finally implement those ideas I still want the ng+ stuff they added in ds2

I had a similar thought on the dryleaf vs Danes but I find that because the shattered stone talisman works with the normal moveset. In my opinion, this makes up for the slightly slower attack speed of Dane’s. It also means that the light attacks aren’t quite as useless as they do decent enough damage and usually has enough recovery to allow me to dodge some bosses faster attacks. they are both great weapons, and the choice in my opinion is purely preference. Dane’s is better for aggressive players and dryleaf is for people who want to set up a lot of staggers.

@@Ccubed92 Yes, let's assume without actually discussing things. Have to love this generation.... It's not but I love the challenge as it gives you an awesome feeling when you do eventually beat those difficult bosses, something games nowadays doesn't give you since developers cater to all those cry babies saying things are too difficult. What fun would things be if you could just walk in and smash a boss without learning a thing or two about their attack patterns. Part of the reasons this genre is great is because you have to earn things, not be handed them on a silver platter. Haven't you seen endless clips of people going absolutely bat shit crazy happy once they beat a boss thats difficult? You don't get that from easy stuff.

You need the glinstone whetblade
I ignore all the idiots claiming its far too difficult. I am by no means a great gamer and I beat the expansion already. I find it more often than not that streamers I come across are absolutely terrrrrrrrrrrrrible at playing games even though they do it for a living which makes me think, what the hell are these guys doing if they don't get any better? Syrobe, love your guides and videos dude. Keep them up. I loved all your base game guides.
You can say what you want but this dlc was objectively difficult. The final boss fight is imo the hardest fromsoftware boss of all time. Ofc if you use shield and spear or perfume that makes tje dlc significantly easier.
@@JoeldupeaI had to shield poke with antspurs to kill the final boss first run-through. I was lvl 139 str/faith. I didn't know about rolling sparks and being I was doing amsbach and tholliers quest I had to summon both of them in. Fighting a 100k health version of that boss just isn't fun in phase 2
Well streamers are usually entertaining. Like I’m sure a lot of randoms are better gamers. But they are probably boring
@@Joeldupea Oh I absolutely agree its difficult and it should be and I am glad that it is. If it weren't, it wouldn't give that sense of accomplishment that you get when defeating difficult enemies. That's what separates Souls like games from other ARPG's. But it is no way impossible how a lot of people are claiming.
@@Ccubed92 Yes, let's assume without actually discussing things. Have to love this generation.... Wrong, I don't use summons for the very reason that it takes away from the sense of accomplishment that I mentioned in a previous post. Also, never did I say it's easy.
Besides of cold what other affinity works well on pvp?
What do you use in ur ng+7 character? I currently just abuse thorns or perfume but its not that fun and the damage i deal with other builds doesnt really make dents that i enjoy esp in my 3rd play through of the dlc
Try abusing the deflecting tear with any weapon the deals decent amount of dmg for u so u can have fun, ng+7 get u one shotted nearly from everything so the deflecting tear should be good ash
@@tru-shWEB isnt that for guarding like a shield? Dont really use those
Then search a impenetrable thorns build its hella op and gets ur shi done in couple of hits also hard to land so its not like an op cheesy shi and gl
@@tru-shWEB i already use that and the perfume one shot its just boring
He did it! ✊🏽
What armor set are you using? I cant seem to find them in my inventory just by the picture alone, I assume they are DLC items I have yet to aquire, whats their name? Thank you in advance!
Helmet/Hat is Shadow Militiaman Helm
Scrolled through the wiki till i found it.
@@thattrandomguy8856 Thanks!
@@thattrandomguy8856what about the rest?
Palm blast meta op
Is using Quality on these weapons are bad?
Bruh great vid! Keep em coming. Can't you also put the frost stomp ash you get from the Mr. Lion head remembrance? I know Fextralife did it so maybe that's why you didnt go that route
What is that headgear if I may ask?
I love a fun to play build out side of bosses!
Can you do a fire knights greatsword and an incantation build??🙏😗
If I could just use a good setup well for the final boss I'd be happier. When I read that martial arts was gonna be in the DLC i just knew I wanted to make a faith monk loadout. I just gotta make it good enough to kill the final boss 😂
