Just bought my Dyson beast so naturally I'm on the outlook how to serve it properly. And this video is really helping Dyson owners to properly maintain the gear. Thanx aplenty, mate!!!😇
Excellent video and very helpful - thank you. Couldn't work out why my machine kept giving the 'blockage' message when the canister and tube were clear - your video helped me find the hidden blockers in the head
Yea I used a few different tools which eventually got the job done. Not something I’d like to do all that often but I guess it would be easier than letting it get out of hand
I have the same issue with 2 retrievers. Wondering if anyone has taken a flathead screwdriver to pop out the roller? Afraid of breaking the plastic....
With a German Shepherd I have to stop and clean the wheels out often...I just pick, pick, pick! I hate it. I wish there was an easier way! Someone suggested using a seam ripper so I've been doing that along with needle nose pliers.
Very helpful, thank you, but I also have hair and fluff wrapped around the axles of the small rollers that are on the base of the cleaning head, behind the fluffy bar. Any idea how to clear them out please?
Hi, How do I clean the inside of the transparent screen. I have two enormous dogs (MASTINS) and this screen gets very dirty in its inside and even their hair gets stuck and obstructs sometimes the hoovering hole. Thank you.
How do we remove hair that’s stuck near the other end near the laser side? I have hair that’s wrapped around a small crevice right near the green laser wrapped around the end? I can’t remove it so I cut the hair but there’s still hair stuck in there.
Also, interestingly enough, the laser is not powered by the V15 directly. I figured this out after pushing the laser fluffy head on carpet without the machine running and the laser lights up if you push it fast enough. Must be using the rollers motion to energize the laser. Pretty cool stuff!
Hello, what about pulling the little wheels off? I have dog hair tangled all around both wheels and I can't remove it efficiently. Any guidance would be much appreciated!
@@Woopnik Thankyou for telling us about Michael’s passing. I hope that it’s some comfort to know that he was valued by many people across the globe. He explained things so clearly and helped a lot of people like me. Condolences from Barbara in Australia.
How to remove the hair stuck at the gear right next to the laser component
use small scissors to cut the hair and then pick it out, works like a charm
Even easier with one of those Stanley knives/box cutter knives
Cuantas horas de uso dura el laser? Aprox 🙏
Cutter, just cut softly the hair and it’s easy to put out
Flush cut snips or cuticle scissors

What about the large wheels at the back of the brush head? It gets full of dog hair and I can't find a way to take them out...is there a way?
Thanks
Did you ever figure out how to do this?
@@taylorschram1399 what I do is just use a Sharp tool and slowly peel it off

What is the logic of using cold water to clean the brush bar? Doesn't hot water and soap clean better?
