If you have a Dyson V12, V15, or Gen5 this issue affects you because it's got the fluffy roller. The fix is super simple though. The V15 is still my favorite overall vacuum and it's my daily.

can you share how to remove the soft hose? my soft hose got tear off and i have no idea how to take it off
I noticed the bottoms of both floorheads wear too quickly as well! I also have an issue where it won’t let me turn the dust dust sensor on as well! Otherwise I love the vacuum.
I haven't had one wear out yet, but I'll keep an eye on it!
Lol yeah, my mom did the sae thing and removed the hair from the small wheels. Also after some time the wheels may start to squeak, just add some oil on the sides of the small wheels to prevent that. but the fluffy head definetitly is a game changer, it helps avoid missing dust!
A tiny bit of oil is probably not a bad idea.
I’ve never had this problem with my V15 but I will now check for this more often, so thanks still 😊
One thing what Dyson don't want you to know is that more than half of the vacuum price goes to their marketing😅 Great video by the way and I have been watching your videos a lot lately.

I’ve been looking into buying a dyson but i cant decide between the v12 detect, v15, or gen 5 detect. I have mostly hard wood floors with one carpeted room. Which cordless vacuum is the best (so i don’t have to buy another one in a couple years) in your opinion? Love your content and definitely think you are one of the leading vacuum experts
Your situation is the same as mine. All hardwood, with a single carpeted room. The V12 is good because it’s a little lighter. The v15 is 7ish lbs and will last about 50 minutes in auto mode. I love the laser, it’s not a gimmick. The gen 5 is great, but it’s a bit on the heavy side. Personally I value a lighter vacuum.
