I understand you're trying to have a specific testing parameter but when the vacuum misses big debris on carpet couldn't you just slightly lift the vacuum cleaner and set it on top of that debris? will that vacuum it up cuz that's how people in the real world would use it.
Any chance that you're going to review the new Dyson v15 that apparently is exclusive to their website? The V15 Detect Absolute? It comes with the attached crevice tool like the Gen 5 Detect it also comes with the blue HEPA filter like the Gen 5 detect. It also has the same fluffy brush head of the Gen 5 there's no switch on it from what I understand.

The outsize model has a lot less suction power, do your research before chosing which one to buy.
