Him saying "I thought you meant a boy that you were friends with" is the stupidest thing I've seen this week. She straight up told him she has a boyfriend. I don't even know how much in denial you have to be to hear a woman say, "My boyfriend is going to pick me up" and then assume she's not in a relationship.
I don't see her saying anything other than this. What else could be there? - _My boy is picking me up_ - _My sweet potato is picking me up_ - _My dearest is picking me up_ 😕
I think that's his fucked up way of being like "I assumed that cause there's NO WAY you'd have agreed to go to a BOY'S HOUSE IF YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND, why would you do such a thing".... what a twat
It's even dumber of him thinking he's got a "gotcha" moment of him trying to make her look unfaithful because she's in a house with another guy, who is working with, on a project. his dumbass wouldn't think that even if she wasn't at his house, she would had to work with him regardless if in each other's house or not.
The worst part of this is that she has to be apologetic and kind to this lunatic because she has to go back to class with him for the rest of the semester. What a nightmare.
on top of that........she also doesnt want to run the risk of him regressing even further and harming her all cause his feel feels got bruised. .............a shitty thing all of us ladies have to go out of our way to be concerned about all cause some guys dont know how to just be fukin normal.

God Bless! And also, He doesn't want you to go to Hell, but He wants you to go to Heaven with Him but you have to be Saved. How do I get Saved you might ask? Here are the steps below on how to get Saved! 1. Believe that God sent His Son (Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that He rose again from the dead 3 days later. 2. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins and Turn away from your sins. If you sin again after asking forgiveness of that sin, ask forgiveness again and try not to do it ever again. Jesus will forgive you! 3. The “I thought you meant a boy you were friends with” is absolutely wild, because he either is a master at hopium/gaslighting himself, or more likely, he well understood that she is taken but thought he was such top shit that she had fallen for him despite her relationship. So he just lied about having misunderstood the “boyfriend picking me up” thing to, in his mind, save face and/or even throw in a little jab about her “wrong” behaviour of going to a guy’s house when she’s in a relationship. Bro needs intervention.
the scariest thing is how respectfully he asked her imo, like if she said yes then this whole psychopathic unveiling wouldn't have been until after they were dating. hope this guy gets better soon

Absolutely, I was hoping someone else would say this. She doesn't want to start shit with a man she's going to have to see all the time, especially when he already isn't taking rejection well. Colleges are notoriously dogshit at helping in these situations too
The saddest part of this is that he actually asked her out in a really nice and respectful way. All he had to do was just not act like a complete psycho after getting rejected and the two of them could have still been on good terms.

I had a similar experience in college. After finishing a project with my partner I asked her out. She said that she was “too busy with school, but thanks.” Except I just said “ok, had to try” and moved on with my life, even though I thought it was a bs excuse . At graduation she received some academic award for getting degrees in chemistry AND computer engineering. Then I realized that she really was too busy - and way out of my league
@jdubo1998 guess you missed the part where she had to put another woman down to make OP feel better. But you are right, the "maybe" makes it better. She could have just said the positive former part and left it at that but go off.
"You let me buy you a pizza" is what got me. I hate those type of people who will do something nice for you only if there is something they are getting back from it.
Toxic people push gestures on others that were never appropriate or wanted. This is so they can create a sort of debt in their minds that you owe them for the thing they pushed on you or even did against your wishes. And that debt always just so happens to be the value of "whatever I want from you for as long as I wish." And this will range from everything from anything from noticing you exist to uncomfortable compliments to buying you a super expensive gift (including when you've already rejected them multiple times and have purposely kept your distance from them for weeks) to tracking you down online to send you unwanted messages. It's horrifying.
She clearly led him on - I mean she was a woman existing in his presence. Indecent!! Seriously though, dude sounds unhinged, like he was twisting reality in his head to suit this idea that they were having a romance. Them being in the same group was her "choosing" him. Her coming over to his house to work on a project was a statement of her availability. Her accepting pizza was a date. Her saying the words "my boyfriend" became "a boy who is my friend". Of course if he don't ask, she won't tell and of course, if she can have attention and free stuff, she won't tell about her boyfriend either. His reaction was inappropriate obviously but next time he'll know better hopefully. When I was young, many, many years ago, I too have been way too nice with a girl expecting something but the girl in question was acting like she was interested, but always had some excuse to never go on a proper date, so after few times, I just stopped and moved on. as a woman i've become accustomed to gently rejecting men who show me the slightest bit of interest out of fear. about 2 months ago i ran away in the middle of the night from a friends house after rejecting a man's advances (i just met him 2 hours before) where he started yelling and raising his fist at me when i said i didn't want to date him, i was terrified. i literally just talked to him and everyone else, no flirting whatsoever. it was nothing but lighthearted convos and banter yet he couldn't handle me saying no, i was super chill about rejecting him too and specified it wasn't personal and that i just didn't want to date. he held back his own fist from hitting me, and that's when i bolted for the door. sadly though i went on a date a few years back where a man bought me $5 worth of dumplings (i offer to pay for but he said it was his treat) and he harassed me for hours on end until i gave in and let him sleep with me (it lasted 30 seconds) but i was scared of being hurt, he was yelling at me a lot too and had at least 50 pounds on me so i couldn't fight back. a lot of men equate time and money (literally 5 dollars) with a woman with sex, it's scary when you know women are killed for rejecting men for such things, this is real and it happens sadly. my friend was assaulted for rejecting a friend of 4 years and just saying no to sex, it's so scary but i'm glad she's okay, he was never charged despite the evidence.

The same guys who complain that the nice guys never win “You let me buy you pizza and didn’t let me into your pussy??? Modern women are something else…”

I think even single women should use this as a litmus test. If another person does not take it well, then the relationship probably wasn't gonna work anyway
I'm not sure if this would really make sense as a litmus test. Most decent guys are going to take "I have a boyfriend" as an instant no go. If a girl told me that and then later said I was just testing you, I would immediately lose interest or not believe her.

@@SylverScourge Yeah, if it's the truth it's definitely a good way to judge someone's character. It's just that the person above said that it would be a good litmus test for single women to use.

There's a lot here, but maturity and respecting boundaries are a big part. As an old, my best advice is to not reply and ignore anyone that can't take a clear "no" and explanation. That goes for coworkers, family, dating, everything. It's easy to ruin your day bantering with rude people. Let them stew in their own shit. It prevents you being caught up in their bullshit and they can't reference anything you say for gossip to others or ammunition for a future altercation. It saddens me that people still have to worry about coddling others that can't take rejection, out of fear of retribution.
And it is way worse with the way he tried to invite her on a date seems so respectful and normal. It made me feel a bit more cautious talking to new people.
As a college student, I feel ashamed that people like this exist. This dude could’ve just said “Oh, darn, ok” in response to the girl having a boyfriend and that’s it. At least I have Charlie to make this less painful.
Former college student here. Might go back in the future or to trade school, not sure. I'd say to her "Welp, can't win them all. Just hope he treats you right. Better luck next time" and leave it at that. It's painful as a human to know people act like that.
Also as a college student, I completely agree, especially in this situation. However, it is worth noting that guys can be friends with girls, even if either or both are in a relationship.

Many thanks to Charlie for recognising that this woman's response was a safety mechanism. We all know fight or flight but fawn is also another instinctive response to a perceived threat - in this case apologising endlessly to reduce the chance of violence.

I have a similar rendition of this from real life that ironically happened over the weekend. So my buddy just got married and I was part of the wedding party, so I didn't get to be with my girlfriend a big chunk of the night. Once dinner was over and the reception was in full swing I migrated back to my girlfriend, who had told me there was a creepy guy following her all night. The creep asked her to dance in front of me to which my girlfriend said "I'm with my boyfriend" and gave him a blank stare. And this man flew off the rails, threw a punch at me and said "find me if you want a real man" needless to say no woman at that wedding went home with him.

I cannot fathom how guys can have these meltdowns. Like 5 years ago there was a girl I worked with and we really got along. We never really had any lulls and had a lot of fun. Made the work days go by much easier. Now, i didnt expect that she was interested, but thought there could've been. But after a little texting it seemed pretty clear she wasnt interested. At no point did "damn she was just leading me on" ever cross my mind. I was more worried that i was actually annoying and she was just being friendly since we were working together. I hope not since it was genuinely the best days of work for me, even though we were swamped. I was just depressed and wondering just how stupid i was. Incels be crazy.
When people say men and women can't be friends, they're often right. Just not for the reasons they think. Usually, they can't be friends because the only thing the dude is interested in is what's in her pants.
I was in a 12 year relationship with a very attractive girl in high school, college, and our 20’s. The “I have a boyfriend” reaction stories were plenty
When my wife and I started dating and people started recognizing we were becoming more serious, she lost a good portion of her male friends. Apparently a lot of them were just holding out in the hopes of ending up with her. It really had an impact on her, as well, because she really saw them as good friends but now she realizes they were just cringe "nice guys". I always kind of knew because when she would introduce me to them and I tried to be friends with them they would just not really want to try and be friends with me. But they would still be super friendly with her and act like I didn't exist or that I was just temporary, so no need to really get to know me.
@@headkicked That happened to me and I'm not even an attractive woman, I'm overweight with bad teeth. I didn't act unpleasant or rude, I just moved on and stopped giving that girl any attention other than being polite. But it was in high school, after that one time, I never did it again. But that was many decades ago. The guy should have just moved on.
My favorite part was when he said "You let me buy you a pizza" as if he felt the most betrayed by that

as a woman i've become accustomed to gently rejecting men who show me the slightest bit of interest out of fear. about 2 months ago i ran away in the middle of the night from a friends house after rejecting a man's advances (i just met him 2 hours before) where he started yelling and raising his fist at me when i said i didn't want to date him, i was terrified. i literally just talked to him and everyone else, no flirting whatsoever. it was nothing but lighthearted convos and banter yet he couldn't handle me saying no, i was super chill about rejecting him too and specified it wasn't personal and that i just didn't want to date. he held back his own fist from hitting me, and that's when i bolted for the door.
sadly though i went on a date a few years back where a man bought me $5 worth of dumplings (i offer to pay for but he said it was his treat) and he harassed me for hours on end until i gave in and let him sleep with me (it lasted 30 seconds) but i was scared of being hurt, he was yelling at me a lot too and had at least 50 pounds on me so i couldn't fight back. a lot of men equate time and money (literally 5 dollars) with a woman with sex, it's scary when you know women are killed for rejecting men for such things, this is real and it happens sadly. my friend was assaulted for rejecting a friend of 4 years and just saying no to sex, it's so scary but i'm glad she's okay, he was never charged despite the evidence.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of metaphors and euphemisms Charlie creates in it seems every video. My friendship with "pumping yogurt" has ended, "getting your winkie stinky" is my new best-friend.
Many thanks to Charlie for recognising that this woman's response was a safety mechanism. We all know fight or flight but fawn is also another instinctive response to a perceived threat - in this case apologising endlessly to reduce the chance of violence.
Never let a guy you don't trust pay for anything, I remember a guy in my Uni feeling entitled to something after very forcefully offering a girl shaved ice
If I were still single and dating, I'd _never_ let the guy pay for me initially. There are way too many entitled, deranged sex pests, and you can never be totally sure who you're dealing with..
Wtf is shaved ice
@@shogunpug4071that’s the real cringe here 😂
@@shogunpug4071 It’s like a snow cone.
That's like a whole $3. She's now obligated to date him for at least a year.

That's really scary, I hope you and your girlfriend are okay. Stay safe!
It never fails to amaze me how so many people show their worst sides after being turned down. If they had a moment of self reflection they'd realise that behaviour is the reason they're single.
Right?? This entire situation could've been avoided if after she said she had a boyfriend he'd just be like "Oh my bad, no worries! :)" like idk what compels dudes to try to dig themselves out of a hole they weren't inside in the first place

8:05 I remember teachers saying like "it's just a group project, you're only working together today, it's not like you're getting married to your partner" I guess this guy wasn't paying attention for that part
This man immediately proves himself to be a horrendous boyfriend for anyone by immediately implying that in the hypothetical situation where she dated him he would be a jealous prick and wouldn't let her hang out with other guys. Not to mention they're barely even acquaintances and hes already getting angry about being left on read too long. Red flags everywhere run girl
He is gonna turn into a wife beater real fast. He finds a girl weak enough to prey on.
Thank your for highlighting how there’s absolutely no winning in situations like this. No matter what you do, you were leading them on and deserve scrutiny. (I’m talking about people who think you owe them something)
Dense guys exist too👀 and that's another type of struggle
When people say men and women can't be friends, they're often right. Just not for the reasons they think. Usually, they can't be friends because the only thing the dude is interested in is what's in her pants.
@@alphakowaclips That's why direct, honest/respectful communication is important.
So you didn't even ask her? And you complain about "incels" to make yourself feel better about being a total wimp.

I became really good friends with a guy at university, we texted every day, but when I got a boyfriend he totally ghosted me for years. When I broke up with that boyfriend he magically re-appeared. It was pretty upsetting because I thought we were just friends but he was only around when he thought he could get more. (Years later he did ask me out, twice actually, but I declined both times because we had different opinions about having kids)

I just found your channel today and I am an instant addict! It's like every time I hear these stories I can pinpoint an experience that I've had that is so similar... I haven't always fall in for these horrifying fakes, but I have had these weird experiences where people are so staged and crazy, and they actually think they are God's gift to women.... They shoot their shot without any hesitation.
She gave this dude WAY more if her time and energy than he deserves. She didn’t owe him a single explanation past the first “thanks but no” and yet she continued to validate her responses. So much patience; could never be me 😳
I remember once I bought a pizza for me and a female friend and a uncle later told me "you know she has a boyfriend, right?" and something along the lines I wasted my money and I was thinking "I just wanted to eat a pizza and talk to a friend"
Any middle aged dude who says shit like that is either perpetually single, or has gone through a divorce or two.
@@jessbellis9510 there's some happily married men who don't understand having female friends, because they never did (and usually didn't grow up with sisters)

But yeah, perpetually single or divorced is more common and likely
Or you're retroactively justifying your cuckery.
People really can't enjoy just a pizza without it being considered a relationship. Wtf it's just food lol
@@bear9295You can swap it out with anything really. Bought a drink? She owes me. Being nice to her? She owes me. Helped her in some way? She owes. It boils down to sexist entitlement over a woman's body, time, energy and soul.
The most wild part about it is that his attempt to ask her out was really quite benign. There wasn't anything wrong with the way he made that approach, and she said thanks that's sweet but I'm in a relationship. That shouldn't have been a confrontation but he sure as fuck turned it into one.
He was doing absolutely fine until she said the trigger phrase
Triggered the sleeper agent or sth
That's the problem. There is no way to know a good man from a bad one until the bad one shows his true colors.
It’s only a mask hiding his true self. She sure would’ve dodged a real bullet then
Isn't it sad that we have to default to "I have a BF" because an autonomous "no" isn't good enough for them to stop.
It's really sad that we have to walk on egg shells around men like this. I'm really happy that Charlie is using his platform to call out men's crappy behavior. I also like that he calls out women's crappy behavior!
You had me on the first half not gonna lie lol. I was reading it thinking “ok but women are capable of acting terribly too” and you cleared it up at the end. I agree any crappy behavior should be addressed lol
@@crispyjello7564 Crappy behaviour isnt linked to a gender. Stupid people are stupid people and cunts will be cunts, male or female

i used to get told "i have a boyfriend" a lot and i never made a fool of myself
it's just a question of maturity and common sense. "you let me buy you a pizza" lmao
you don't have to walk on eggshells, imo thats why they got how they are. children having tantrums that break down the resilience of the parents gets them thinking this is acceptable behaviour.
@@crispyjello7564it's more impactful when it's a guy calling out his fellows, just as it's more impactful when it's a woman calling out her fellows. this guy was the focus of this episode in the saga so I don't see how someone would need to talk about womens' behavior other than to placate sensitive individuals that don't understand context.
Its actually quite sad that the isolation the internet brings pushes people to these immediate outbursts so easily.
I feel like it makes people who are alone like this guy, overanalize every single social que and read them as something completely different, and then when its not what they thought, they feel lied to and throw a tantrum
doesnt help so many influencers today try and abuse these insecurities on the young for profit
This has nothing to do with the internet lol, this is literally how men are raised. Society is extremely permissive of degen male behavior like this, and always has been.
Considering that was near an exact script played out on 90's sitcoms, and if he was online a lot it probably would've been worse, I'd sooner blame dickvision than the internet for this incident.
