If you look at the floor after the thief in the white shirt and red/yellow pants leaves, you will notice a blood trail follows him out the door.
I think white shirt got popped potentially.

@c-w-h RUclips keeps removing my comment, but yes, the guard survived. I found a follow up news story about one of the robbers being arrested.
It happened in Jamaica. The robber in the yellow, red and black shorts got shot in his palm by the guard.
That guard went hard. He was outnumbered and surprised but he gave his all.
And by the way, as a self defender… there is no reason at all ever to wear flip flops. They actively impede your ability to defend your or anyone else’s life. Ask yourself, why don’t cops wear flops? Because they wanna come home at the end of the day.

If you need to spring to action with the flops on, 1st step remove them any way quickly as possible: kick off(could serve as distraction) or even get them in hand and activate

lolololol. i've never seen anyone say this before other than me. more than anything else this is the one self-defense/sit aware thing my family makes fun of me the most about. especially the women, especially when i poke at them for flying in flip flops (which I guess they call "slides" now) or sandals. i personally learned the lesson down range on QRF. got lazy. took the boots off. got the call. fiercest shoot and scoot fight of a career full of page 9s and i almost had to do my "scooting" in shower shoes.
@@jtknight4647 good gawd. this guy. of course the OP doesn't meant the beach. or at night in bed. for god's sake just b/c you CAN think of a smart as comment doesn't mean you SHOULD make that comment.. at the same time, self defense aint the only reason you shouldn't be wearing sandals/flips very often in ordinary life. running through post explosion or car wreck glass/ debris, herding down a public stairway in a fire with a bunch of untrained panicked civilians trampling you .......and on and on. you ain't kicking your flips off and strolling through that crap unscathed.
you don't need to be a pyscho wearing Bates combat boots at all times. but nor do sandals make sense if you have any type of situational/self-protection/family protection awareness, in any but a few limited contexts.
Right. I feel the same way about flip-flops. Guns and flip-flops don't do well together. I'm a serious self-defender myself. Always have tactical boots on.
Looks like the robber got shot. Look at the floor before the guard goes offscreen. No blood on the floor. Then when the robber reappears, looks like he’s holding a bloody hand and he leaves blood drops on the ground.

Don't be paranoid with constant anxiety. Be preparanoid and always be casually looking around in your environment, looking for ques and things out of the normal. There can be balance friends.
Guy in grey hat wasn't using a leveraging arm, he was going for the guards gun, that's what made the gaurd go for the disarm. Luckily, none of them were killers, because it allowed the guard to draw his gun and get a shot off... it went through "Red Hat's" hand. Also great job done by the guard to keep "Grey Hat" from getting behind him, which he tried several times!

i dunno. i've said this before. if i'm $8 or $15 or whatever dollar an hour retail employee i'm not sure there's anything in the store worth my life. john once posted a vid of a shooting in a cvs where the manager takes a bullet in the thigh for intentionally being slow opening the register and everyone is praising him. really? CVS is sitting on like $10B in cash (not their market cap which is much higher that's just cash on hand per their SEC filings). dude's making what? maybe like $18 p/h as a manager? You're gonna take a bullet in the leg for a mega corporation with $10B extra sitting around? sorry not sorry. that's just dumb.

This took place in Montego Bay Jamaica about 2 years ago. Maybe that's why you can't find much information. The guard is an ex police. He managed to shoot one of the culprits. However, he was also shot by one of them, and his firearm stolen. The guard survived, and two of the criminals were arrested. They have a lengthy track record of robbery charges.

Guy at the end walking out was shot or injured, just from the blood dripping off of him, so something happened either of camera, or it was friendly fire of the robbers.

2:04 right here, if you frame pause the video you can see the thief has a wound to his hand, I think that shot snapped his finger in the gun or maybe it went through his hand, either way you can indeed see the trail of freedom juice.

Due to all the blood drops the perp left at the end, either the victim got stabbed and taken out or the perp somehow got shot in the hand. When you see his hands on screen they are covered in blood and almost looks like a instrument in his hand. I hope the guard made it but that ending looks terrible.

White shirt, Germany flag shorts, red hat dude caught a round. You can see it just before he runs out of the store, he stumbles on the black chair and sprayed what appears to be veinial discharge, not quite arterial. But, you can see he's hurt by how he stumbled over that chair.

The second thing that caught my eye was when he took the victim out of the camera and came back into the camera you can see his left hand bleeding a bit
Final you can see blood drops all on the floor as he run out the store
If you slow it down to .25 speed at 2:02 you can see the robber in the red had pop out at the bottom. His hand is bloody! He leaves a trail of blood beside the turned over chair, and out the door as he leaves. I hope its his blood, and not the guy that tried to help.

Yes, when third perp in white blue red top jumps in, guard is tugging at his gun, second disarm attempt, causing badguys gun to discharge, shooting white top robber accomplice in hand. The guard, if armed, didn't draw a weapon
No John, dude is leaking as he leaves, 2:07 shows no blood on the floor, by 2:10 he runs by and is leaking pretty bad on the floor! He got 'em!!
John, the guard pulls a revolver at 1:41, they wrestle for the gun and perhaps the shot came from the revolver and goes through the hand of the perp in the red, black and yellow shorts. You can see him jerk his hand back at 1:38 which is later bloody at 2:04 and leaking as he exits the store. The perp in the red white and blue shirt disarms the guard at 1:43. Hopefully the guard was not hit.
Had he known there were others working together then my guess is he'd not try the disarm.
At 2:11 you can see blood on the floor when the bad guy ran out. I believe the blood belonged to the bad guy injured and the guard may die also.

Watching it again the Bumbaclot may be self inflicted, like he tried to shoot the guard but missed at hit is own hand in the wrestle for the gun

Guard here. Don't EVER let people get that close to you. That guard made it clear he had shit situational awareness, which is exactly what the robbers wanted. Stay vigilant and alert, or find another line of work. Dude could have died here a dozen different times.

This is why, once again, security guards without a gun of their own are no better than decoration. Might as well dress up a mannequin in a guard outfit and it would make little difference, because it's safe to assume that criminals always move in packs and more than one of them are armed.

One thief took a round to the hand. You can see the blood trail as he leaves. When the shot went off, he yanks his hand back from the injury.

Once he drove to the corner, our good guy got his own gun out, then he got one shot off. The 3rd guy took his gun after that one shot. They were definitely after his gun.

If you look closely ibwill see blood spots near the corner of the counter. After the robber pushes the clerk off screen, and returns to leave. I believe the clerk was shot
