I have numbness in my last three toes on my right foot that has not gone away in months and I am not diabetic I just had that checked and I do not know why
It could be from a lower back problem, specifically from the S1 nerve root. Or it could be from the lateral plantar nerve, which is usually a problem with overpronating. I can't tell you specifically which one is causing your problem, but those would be two things to consider.
After quadruple bypass surgery harvested veins from my legs numbness was immediate, 9 mos post op. I thought it would heal and feel better not worse. I was type 2 diabetic befor a d still afterwards loads of meds just make everything worse not better

Im 22, and my left foot pinkie has been feeling kind of numb these few days . I only realize numbness when im lying down and rub my feet along the bed. I have no pain, though . I was wondering, after how many days should i conduct a doctor if the numbness doesn't go away . Also, would a massage help ?
Sometimes people don't perceive mild numbness unless they touch something like the bed. If it's more than a few days, it's probably worth getting checked out. As far as a massage helping, that really depends on the cause of the numbness.
There are more than 6. These are 5 of the most common causes, but this doesn't include all possible causes. If you read through the comments, people have listed several other causes besides the 5 mentioned in the video.
Hii I got tingling in my toes after coming back from a trek. Its been 3 weeks it did heal on its on own but today I went for jogging in the morning and in evening I got the tingling back. It is mainly on the right toe. Could you pls tell what could it be and how can I cure it?
There's no way to tell for sure from the information provided. It could be any of the issues mentioned in this video. You'd need to have it evaluated in person to tell for sure.
Can't say for sure. It could be that the sciatic nerve got irritated with the surgery. But you also could have started walking differently after the surgery and put pressure on the nerves in the foot. Or it could be swelling from the surgery draining down to your leg and putting pressure on your nerves. Those are a few possibilities. Let your surgeon and therapy team know about it for sure.
That is true that cerebellar ataxia can cause numbness in the toes. This is by no means an exhaustive list of causes, just some of the more common ones. Cerebellar Ataxia has a prevalence on the order of 2-40 cases per 100,000 people, so it's rather rare.
@@More4Life After stopping a 30 year aspirin regimen to get eyelid surgery I had a mini stroke. 3 years later I developed full Cerebellar Ataxia that took over my speech and balance. A year later I had a Cerebellar Infarction that ironically cancelled out the Ataxia effects. Now I’m struggling to get my balance and stability back. Making progress.
Do you have any idea why I would have my three last toes on my foot would be numb I do have very bad bunions but I cannot feel my last three toes since for like 4 months
Years ago, on my right foot the 2nd to the last toe kept getting a Charley horse feeling. I’m a hiker and after years of hiking this started. It then began going numb. Now it keeps going in and out of joint and it hurts like crazy. When I wear socks, it pushes my toe out of joint. It’s difficult to walk. What in the world is going on?
I started to get numbness on the inside of my big toes from pushing on multiple foot pedals with both feet while standing in steel to boots for about 3 weeks straight. The arch of my foot seems fine so maybe nerve pinching? It seems to be getting a little better with different stretches and massages that I find, but I still can't get it to go away. I've thought about quitting my job so I can recover because I don't think it will get better if I'm still doing the repetitive motion for 10 hours every other day
Shoes that are too tight or narrow can compress the nerves in your feet. If you haven't tried a new, wider pair of boots, you might try doing that first. Or check with a healthcare provider before doing something drastic like quitting your job.
I went on a long road trip for 28+ hours sitting short breaks in between and after that I had the worst back pain ,swelling in my legs. Then I notice this painful bulge in my left leg where my calf is. (Before this trip I already had issues with my back and hips getting stuck when I walked , and my foot spasming as well).; But now I notice my back isn't "cracking anymore" and my left heel is completely numb. It's been numb for 2 weeks. My legs get shooting pains all the way to my tailbone. It's the worse. I just want to know what the bulge is and will it be numb forever
If you're having swelling and and a bulge in your calf, it's worth urgently getting that checked out. A deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is one possible cause of leg swelling and can be potentially deadly if the clot breaks off an goes to the lungs. That can happen after prolonged immobilization such as a long plane flight or car trip where the blood pools in the calves. A doppler ultrasound is the gold standard test to rule that out. It could be something less serious than that, but it's worth ruling the serious stuff out first. The back/hip issues may be unrelated - possibly a pinched nerve in the lower back or in the buttock. *Note: Don't use this in place of getting in-person medical advice. See a doctor sooner rather than later.
I had numbness in my four small toes on my left leg for y several years. fortunately, I could wiggle my toes and occasionally did this to sort of help get rid of the numbness. I found doing this a fairly regular basis (just because it did help get rid of the numbness in my toes) seem to work and eventually the whole thing disappeared. now 10 years later it’s back, but I can still get rid of it temporarily by just wiggling my toes. (in the meantime, that foot is flat, It dropped about 20 years ago in an episode of severe pain when I was walking.)
I had fest a fashion show competition yesterday and had to wear heels for 5 hours and when I removed it I felt a slight numbness in my right toes and the next day I thought it would go away but it isn’t going away I’m 17 should I be concerned or should I wait for few days to see if it has reduced?
If you're 17, definitely tell your parents about it. If it was just yesterday it might not be cause for concern yet, but if it lasts more than a few days, it would be a good idea to get it checked out.

Last time the feeling faded within 3-4 days but now I have it for over a week and it does not feel any less numb. No massage or stretching helps. Sorry go hear you've had such a tough time. Unfortunately that's not a problem suited for RUclips. You probably need to get in person treatment for something that complex.
Interesting information but there must be more. Those things are not the causes of my problem. Swollen feet, tingling feet, numbness of feet & toes. My doctor said it was dry skin. What a joke, dry skin doesn't cause all these problems.
If your still having problems look into finding a physiotherapist or such who understands CRPS which is chronic regional pain syndrome. I'd had it for awhile following a fall and after struggling with it for ages happened to see another physiotherapist who had just done an indepth course on this problem and she finally helped me recover by retraining the nerves to stop firing out of control with specific excercises and repetitive home treatments. It took awhile but it did work. I was still having unexplained pain in that foot and finally got to see a foot orthopedic specialist who did an MRI finding a small break in a bone which stopped hurting instantly after he put pressure on it on the right spot thereby knitting the bone together, after 18 months of hell it was miraculous😊 of course I then realized it also would have been the reason for the CRPS in the first place. I hope yourve found an answer by now but if not keep this in mind, I'm in New Zealand and CRPS was only just becoming recognized here so I was fortunate to find someone newly trained in the condition and the treatment.
I never really had this problem up until I started working with steel toe boots , long hours. Did 6 months bed rest about a year ago , cease knee surgery:( at ae liquor store ... I drink 🍻 when I do I noticed it gets worse . I'm not diabetic tho.
If the boot are too tight, that can compress the nerves in your foot. You may try loosening the laces or potentially getting wider shoes or arch supports for the shoes. All of that obviously depends on your individual case though.
My issue started with tight shoes. One foot only. I think that the issue was compounded by sitting at my desk for hours at end with my weight balanced mainly on one buttock
@@janicejames3005 yes, the sitting on one side of the buttock can cause a sciatic nerve compression, and then the compression from the tight shoes as well. Hopefully sitting more balanced and getting wider shoes will help.
I wore tight shoes and as it is my feet are broader than usual. Now my right foot is numb for about a week can't feel and move the big toe and can't move the foot upwards and can't feel a large part of the foot. Didn't even realise when it got numb suddenly and I toppled and fell bruising and hurting both my knees.
If the only thing that has changed is sitting on the floor, my first thought would be a back or sciatic nerve issue. Of course you'll have to get that checked out with your local medical providers, but that would be the first thing that would pop into my mind with that history.

I was feeling so uncomfortable but I keep pushing cause I wanted to finish the game. Now am going about 3 months with this pain how long will this last😢
Also I can't stand up or sit cause of the pain I have to lay down for pain to ease up.
Sorry to hear that. How long the pain lasts depends on how it's treated, but if it's lasted 3 months, it's time to seek out treatment from a healthcare professional if you haven't done so already.

What of all your tests come back normal except for my thyroid. I've been tested for diabetes and I don't have it. I have lymphadema. Mainly in my right leg ,foot, and hip. I'm positive I have neuropathy. What does anyone suggest.
Neuropathy: Start by requesting a Nerve Conduction Test.
@solraclarkin4375 Thank you. I'm going to ask my doctor about getting the test. I appreciate the advice. I'll post again after I get the test. Hope you have a wonderful weekend 😊
I've had this numb leg for a decade or so. Should I let them look at it or gonna let them bother with thanks?
It's worth getting checked out, but the prognosis after 10 years isn't great.
So it can 6 different causes. Thanks for that.
There are more than 6. These are 5 of the most common causes, but this doesn't include all possible causes. If you read through the comments, people have listed several other causes besides the 5 mentioned in the video.
Hii
I got tingling in my toes after coming back from a trek.
THANK YOU
You're welcome!
Had tingling in m'y toes for 3 years had a hip replacement and IT got worse.??? What happen..
Weird, no mention of Cerebellar Ataxia which always has Numbness of the toes.
Omg! Are you okay now.. can you tell me what u did coz I'm having it right now!!..
Maybe you should see a podiatrist. Hope it all works out for you. ❤

I really hope your ok!
Everything ok?
are you ok? Was it a DVT?
I had numbness in my four small toes on my left leg for y several years. fortunately, I could wiggle my toes and occasionally did this to sort of help get rid of the numbness. I found doing this a fairly regular basis (just because it did help get rid of the numbness in my toes) seem to work and eventually the whole thing disappeared. now 10 years later it’s back, but I can still get rid of it temporarily by just wiggling my toes. (in the meantime, that foot is flat, It dropped about 20 years ago in an episode of severe pain when I was walking.)
Thanks for sharing!
Hey I feel some tingling in my two big toes.
Is it still there or is it solved & if it is solved what is the solution bcoz I have the same problem
My toe numbness is not going away from 2days
I know Its due to my tight footwear
But now its not going away
What should i do
Definitely looser shoes, but beyond that you'd want to check with a healthcare provider if it's still not going away.
The sound is too low. GOOD INFO. BUT I CANT HEAR .

I got plain numbness (ig I can call it that) in my big toe, one beside it and the small one in my left foot. It happened before and each time because of work shoes and heavy work loading my upped and lower back. Last time the feeling faded within 3-4 days but now I have it for over a week and it does not feel any less numb. No massage or stretching helps. I had a bunch of heavy work to do in the past week and honestly I can't even tell what the cause could be this time. And I still so hope it will go away by itself like last time even tho it doesn't seem like it at all. This vid got me some useful info in case I would go to the doctor soon, but I'm kinda scared of what they will tell me
Glad it was helpful. Good idea on seeing the doctor. It can be scary, but the sooner you figure out the cause, the sooner you can treat it.
I am having tingle in the bottom of my feet. Up my thighs and in the lower part of my back.

If your feet are swollen, you may have your doctor check on vascular disease, congestive heart failure, or lymphedema, to name a few possibilities.
@@More4Life - Thank you for your response.
@@sheronlyn2693 great advice. Thanks for sharing!
What if it’s in your third toe?
@@More4Life 👍👍.
Been sitting on the floor for the past year and now this numbness is here. Doctors have no clue and do not help at all
If the only thing that has changed is sitting on the floor, my first thought would be a back or sciatic nerve issue. Of course you'll have to get that checked out with your local medical providers, but that would be the first thing that would pop into my mind with that history.
