REAL WEEK Y8, Renaissance College Hong Kong

On Friday November 16th culminated a week of our Year 8 Students learning, in their endeavours to enhance the lives of others, within our school community.
Over the course of REAL Week, students synthesised prior learning across their MYP Disciplines, in order to drive their week long project; They will have used the MYP Design Cycle, to guide them through the concept of identifying a problem and justifying the need for a solution. They attended 6 Explicit ATL Skills sessions, to support their independent research, ideal development, and planning and preparation for their Pitch. They will revisit prior learning, from their recent 'Persuasive Language Unit' in English.
Our Goal as teachers, through this

Through Providing: Structure, Skill building, Encouragement ,Guidance.
