I got an early facelift, and there were definitely pros and cons. I don't think I would have made the same choice if i could go back. I went to a board certified surgeon who specializes in facelifts and paid a lot.
Pros- tiny early jowls are better, cheeks are higher (but one side is now a little higher than the other whch i hate), over all i do think (hope) i will age better.
Cons- one side seemed to be pulled a little tighter, making that cheekbone more prominent & higher, and the other side jowl area a little looser. Both sides look pretty good, but together they don't.
I still have neo-fold lines on both sides. Before the surgery they looked the same. I thought they would go away because that's a big reason i got the surgery.
My ears tragus area on both ears look kinda messed up. The way one ear was sewn on the back has a little loop thing that's weird. The scars will take a long time to fade. The surgery recovery was worse than i thought it would be. Now I'm afraid of another surgery when my face will really need it in the future.

I am sorry to hear about your "cons" but in general you will be aging at a much slower pace now vs. before. This is a big "plus"
