I wonder if the "electric/heated" blanket had anything to do with her swelling that first day? She looks fantastic!

How come in most of the people that get facelifts you can notice the ears always look lower than before, the lobes look closer to the jaw🤔

This can happen if too much tension is placed on the skin during the procedure. As the face relaxes it drags the ears down. One of the advantages of my deep plane technique is that no excessive tension is put on the skin so that the earlobe can stay natural. That said, many patients request changes to the earlobe during surgery so this would change the appearance by design.

Did you get general or sedation?

I prefer to do my facelift procedures under IV sedation. Completely asleep but no ventilator or breathing tube

I am aware of the oxygen treatment after surgery but can you advise why she did the treatment before the surgery?

I prefer IV sedation (not general) for my facial rejuvenation procedures. The patient is comfortably asleep, but still breathing on their own without the need for a breathing tube or ventilator.

@@KChapman6079 One or two treatments right before the surgery helps "prime" the tissues for optimal healing. It's not required to get a great result but can be a nice addition when possible.
