  • How to flip cars UK | FULL PROCESS (5)
    Welcome to the @Cars 'N' Stuff channel where we're starting off our RUclips journey to try and showcase how we buy and sell cars.
    In this video, we're showing how we made just over £800 by making the car more presentable and doing a few things to it.
    On this occasion, we've bought a 2011 Ford Focus Titanium with 114k miles and a very good service history. We've purchased it for £2,584 that included travel, service and paint.
    Now, until we arrive, we don't know what shape it's in so I always go expecting the worse.
    After posting it for sale, at £3,650, it was soon snapped up by a lovely local chap and we did a deal at £3,400 - making over £800 profit in just a few days.
    We buy and sell cars on a part time basis so feel free to follow our journey and like, comment your thoughts (and tips) and feel free to subscribe!
    (We're also very camera shy but I'm hoping to film us doing a few things and providing advice on how to buy and sell cars in the near future).

    These videos are great. Have wanted to get into trading for 5-6 years but my circumstances have not been right but looks like this year is the year.
    A video of your start up guide to part time trading would be cool. Keep the videos coming 🤟🏻

    Also, as a Brummie, I’ve noticed you say “Birminham” and miss the G in Birmingham. Get the ing sound in there 😂😉
    Keep up the good content mate!

      Cheers mate. I usually use Auto Trader - filter for same age, mileage and spec and that should give you a ball park figure to advertise at.
      Haha, sorry mate. I'll try and get the G in there 🤣

    Hi this is a bit of a late comment but: 1) how did you pay for insurance to drive it back to your place? Short term cover is so expensive! 2) did the buyer inquire about why you were selling the car? Did you have to tell porkies about how long you’ve had it etc. 3) when you sell the car do you register it sold online with the dvla and that’s it? Cheers and great video

      Hi mate - to answer your questions:
      1. I have a trade insurance policy
      2. Just be honest and say I buy and sell cars. It's usually in better condition and serviced etc.
      3. Pretty much. DVLA site is open from 7am til 7pm or you can post the V5.
      Any other questions then just let me know 👍

    just subbed! - Would be great if you could make a vid of you flipping a car bought from eBay or Facebook marketplace and going through the process of what sort of cars you were looking for, why you didn't buy potential cars you found what what reason etc. I'm looking to get into car flipping as a side hustle and that would really help me out. Also how do you suggest finding local car auctions, just simply searching google or is there a better way - Many thanks

    • @carsnstuffuk
      @carsnstuffuk  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the sub mate! I used to buy off Facebook quite a lot but it's just finding the time really whilst working in a full time job too. It'll be easier in the summer with the lighter evenings though so I'll definitely post a video once I've identified a couple to make a few quid on. If you're just starting out, then Facebook and ebay are your best places to find something to start off with.and yea, Google local car auctions as there's quite a few independent ones across the country where members of the public are allowed to attend

    Well done and thanks for sharing the info.

    • @carsnstuffuk
      @carsnstuffuk  Год назад

      If you're planning on doing it for the long term then yes. Otherwise, if you're thinking about flipping a couple of vehicles to start off with then either add cars to your current insurance or get temporary insurance. Just bear in mind you'll have to fill out the v5 in your name and tax them too if you go down that route
