Future video idea: road trip challenge across Europe in second hand cars. Alex, Ethan, Jack
The stickers made it look really good. Well done. 🙌 Your dad (Mike Brewer) would be proud.
Rory was absolutely wasted on top gear and you can not change my mind. Breath of fresh air to watch, whatever he does.
Alex, here would be an idea. The ford mondeo is ending production in march 2022 after 30 years of production. To buy a 2017 base model estate is about 10k. If you found a cheap 1 for 5k (which you can still find). Clean IT service IT for cheap etc. Sell for 10-11k. 5-6k profit. Tbh that's just my brainstorm. This would be a stupid and unreal idea but may work in some cases. 🤷😂
Lol the ways Alex' dog was looking at him at the beginning 😂
Cambelts on the VW Up and derivatives are continental long life belts. They're supposed to be done after 120k or something.
You brought your nemesis Alex? He stole your job in the new TopGear..
alex would have never got the job, he is annoying asf
@@cactus3796 naaah he's alright man
Why would you want to be on new top gear?
@@cactus3796 How can you talk like that for our man Alex? He has genuine love for cars and has a funny way to express it. And the best thing is he talks about cars that you and I can pick it up. There are thousands of YT channels who will showcase the shiny and glitzy million dollar cars, but there is no one like CT which keeps it grounded, funny and relatable to the mass.
@@cactus3796 Considering Chris Evans, Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness have had the job, being "annoying asf" seems to me more of a pre-requisite rather than a hindrance...
According to VW, the cambelt is a lifetime part.
Great video as always from Car throttle!
Love you Rory and ALEX!
Shame about the Corsa D :D
That dog was EYEBALLING Alex.
Love how you were in the superior vehicle....

That would be an interesting series see if you can work your way up to a certain bracket of car with buying fixing and selling
Been done. 2 series in fact. Mike Brewer did it but he made it world-wide. The first series went from buying a shitbox Suzuki in India to a Ferrari (or was it a Porsche?) in the Middle East.
I think Mr Mike Brewer is going to have some real competion soon
You took those photos right next to my house in Dorchester! Next time pop in for a visit and pints at the pub!!!
Dont let Jack snap his fingers again. He snaped me into an AD
This seems like the polar opposite of the car ownership journey most of us live through… Best of luck on getting something cool at the end!
fucking hell, at 13:10 i said out loud “quite smart”, then instantly had the my own words repeated straight back to me by jack. hilarious
When I see the car throttle notification I can’t describe the feeling 😂😁
Itchy with a burning sensation?
You could describe it if you were german. Its called "Vorfreude".
